Naughty knights spank-her by Ruff doggie styles - review by Avery Dragon

Ruff-Lust hasn’t made a name for themselves by creating a huge line of items, but they are known for using very unique colored materials or unique shapes and designs to their products. The Naughty Knights Spank-Her paddle is no exception for this company. When I saw the new line of paddles and crops that came out this was the one that caught my eye. I sent a picture of it to my boy and his words were “that’s kind of scary…it looks like a knife.” Indeed it does.

I have been able to review a few S&M items recently that, though well made, were geared toward those who were curious about the lifestyle without wanting to go head first into the deep end. The Naughty Knights paddle I feel would have a high chance of scaring a beginner away, but for those looking for a nice resonating sting would definitely find pleasure here.

To make this paddle special, Ruff-Lust combined thick black leather with a thin layer of powder pink suede. The paddle is hand sewn which is actually noticeable. Rather than pink or black thread, a red thread was used. On the leather side it looks very uniform, but the suede side is what gives the proof. Some stitches are just slightly off center from the majority of the other stitches, and though some may worry about the quality, I believe it is top notch and only adds more character.

The entire length of the paddle is just over 17.25”, the handle being 5.75” and the paddle itself the remaining 11.5”. The tip is just over .25” wide, the paddle tapers to a max width of 3.25”, and the handle stays a constant 1.5” wide. The paddle’s thickness is .25”. At the end of the handle there is a 4” long chord loop to hang the paddle between uses.

Because this is leather, soaking or rinsing in water is a bad idea. The best way to clean this Naughty paddle is with good leather cleaner and follow-up with leather conditioner. For the suede, rubbing an eraser should clean off most dry stains, and to remove wet stains, wait for suede to fully dry than rub with a terry-cloth towel to remove stain.

To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first when looking at this paddle. It would be the first "hard core" paddle I'd owned. The style was very unique and my boy's reaction to it was interesting. When I bit the bullet and requested the Naughty Knights Spank-Her, Gary from EF sent a note telling me how he had been looking at it and noticed that how most of it felt like a normal paddle, the tip, because so thin, would feel more like a whip.

When I had some alone time I went ahead and spanked part of my thigh, the wider part of the paddle did feel like a paddle, and Gary was right, the thinner portion felt more exact like a whip. Like any dual material paddle, the suede adds more of a thud and the leather has a resounding sting. I won't be able to try this paddle out on my manager because she is now managing another store :( but I know I'll have my boy crying in pain (in a good way) when I see him next!
