For someone like me, condoms are a huge deal. I am very picky with what brands I use, and most of the time I find myself unsatisfied in some way. Sometimes finding the condom that's right for you is like searching for potential soul mates. There may be many of them or few of them--but they're out there! I think this condom is one of my "latex soul-mates".

I first purchased these on a whim. The packaging is beautiful-- a bit different than what is pictured on this website. The box was shiny green and had a dragon design on it with the individual condoms packed in teal-green wrappers. The condoms themselves are a beige color like most regular condoms and feel a bit slippery from the water-based lube they are coated with. They do not seem to smell at all nor do they have a strong taste. They are thin and silky. When my partner and I first had the opportunity to use them, they were so contoured to the shape of the body and so thin that I could feel all the little curves of my partner's cock once he was inside of me. It shockingly caused me to orgasm in mere minutes (which usually doesn't happen!). Being able to appreciate my partner's penis for its unique and beautiful shape AND still be safe about it at the same time? A huge plus!

My favorite quality of this product is the fact that it's so thin and yet so incredibly durable. I have used these condoms successfully for dildo play, intercourse, and I have even taken one out just to poke around at it and stretch it out to test its limits. No matter how far I stretched it, I couldn't get it to break or tear. The endurance of a condom should be one of the most important factors to condom manufacturers. The idea of condom breakage isn't fun for anybody and is a source of unwanted anxiety. I have used Kimono condoms for intercourse countless times with no breakage issues.

My partner is easily bothered by condoms that give off even a moderate latex scent. Kimono condoms do not perturb his sensitive sense of smell, and to me they don't have much of a scent at all. A definite plus, especially to those easily affected by the scent of materials/chemicals.

I have a couple of small issues with these condoms, the first being that they utilize a water-based lubricant. This is nice for toys that can't be coupled with silicone lube, but for intercourse I discovered if I wasn't well-lubricated enough naturally, my partner and I had to incorporate additional lubricant to the condom. The other issue is that these condoms run a bit smaller width-wise and may not fit penises that are much above average in girth.

Kimono condoms are wonderful, and I would highly recommend them to any couple who is seeking high-quality condoms. Kimono is one of my favorite (not to mention trusted) brands. So many other brands could learn a lot from the simplicity and care taken to create such a great condom.
