I can't say that I would recommend this product hands down, but at the same time I am also unable to say that this is not a good product! As anything else, it has its own pros and cons but the list is about even. This is one of few options for people with a latex allergy or a latex sensitivity. Few people are aware that a latex allergy is one that is acquired over time. This being said, anyone showing tendencies toward a latex sensitivity need to take care to not have any unnecessary exposure to latex products. This includes natural rubber, balloons, condoms, toys with latex, band-aids among many others. With each exposure, a person's reaction becomes more severe. This reaction can be anything from irritation, redness, rash, and swelling that can be anywhere on the spectrum from minor to anaphylaxis (which is an acute systemic reaction causing many complications including the swelling of ones airway). This reaction can be very rapid and requires emergency medical intervention because it will make someone stop breathing. This being said, anyone who has a sensitivity and is using latex products despite is temping fate with a ticking time bomb.

There are very few available alternatives, this being one. The other pros include its versatility to use with any lubricants without jeopardizing the integrity of the protection. Another is the protection against viral sexually transmitted infections and diseases. The lambskin alternative does not provide this protection from viral entities. This condom does also have lubrication on it reducing the need to use additional lubrication. It also does not have the smell associated with latex condoms which is nice as well.

In my opinion, the cons are pretty significant. First, there is only one size offered. In my experience, this is not the one size to fit most. If the guy has more girth than the condom was sized for, it can be uncomfortable enough to hinder the desired outcome. These condoms do not have the elasticity that latex do and so the right fit is even more crucial. They also have a distinct crackle sound like a plastic wrapper as you are putting it on.

Despite its size issue, I have found it to be very durable as I've never had one break. It is an option for those who can't use latex, but I hope that for those of us who do... technology is improving alternatives for our use! In the mean time, I will continue to use these and just deal with those cons I have encountered.
