I have always loved the idea of ribbed and studded condoms, however for some reason, my luck with condoms is not all that great. It's very hard for me to find a fit. Even so, I wanted to give Four Seasons Studs and Ribs a try, and I wasn't disappointed.

The real point of any condom is to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and as a birth control method. These condoms are made from latex and so they are effective at preventing the spread of STD's and as a birth control method. Be aware though, any condom can break and if it does, protection is no longer effective. I found Four Seasons to be extremely durable. My girlfriend and I took it on a wild ride and even tried them on different sized dildos and none of them broke. If you or your partner has an allergy to latex, you will need to steer clear of these.

The Four Seasons was one of the easiest condoms I have ever put on. I sometimes have problems with my foreskin getting in the way. Not with these. The condom unfolded with ease and went on comfortably. I've had condoms pinch and squeeze before but these felt just right. Now, I am about five inches long, so I'm your average sized guy. The fit was good but not great. I could tell a larger man would fit into this more snugly so we pulled out my girlfriend's dildos and started experimenting. These condoms will fit a man sized between 5 and 7 inches. The condoms themselves are almost 8 inches long but if you're over 7 inches, it's going to be a stretch. I found that these little babies don't like to unfold all the way out.

Let's get to the ribs and studs. The base of the condom is ribbed whereas the entire shaft (excluding the tip) is studded. On my end, there is no sensation but my girlfriend said that the ribs and studs were constantly adding a pleasantly gritty feel which aroused her more than usual and heightened her experience. Although the latex isn't thin, I could hardly feel the condom there. Heat from my girlfriend transferred perfectly, oral was not hampered, and every touch felt like there was nothing there, which is really what I'm looking for! These do taste like rubber however, which is a turnoff, but it's not a big deal.

During our session the condom did not slip or slide at all, making us feel more secure. When I did cum, the condom held perfectly. Just tie it in a knot and throw it away. I always put mine in a baggie just to be cleaner. Each condom is lubricated, inside and out, but not so much so that it's hard to handle. It did leave a residue on my penis which I washed off with a little soap and water.

The condoms arrived in a pink, window box with a woman's silhouette on the front. Six condoms come per box along with a pink storage tin that stores three. My girlfriend grabbed that and put it in her purse. A pamphlet of ads is included which has instructions on proper condom usage, products, the importance of condoms in Africa and a campaign regarding that, and my favorite, a guide to sex positions. 21 positions are included. Of those, we tried "Playing the Cello", which was a lot of fun.

Always use a water or silicone based lube with this product, oil can and will cause the condom to break. Store in a cool dark place. All my condoms came with an expiration date of 01/2012 which gives me two good years of use, well not that they lasted that long. I already went through them! But still, it's a good chunk of time.
