The fix thigh harness by Outlaw Leather - review by Sir

The Fix thigh harness is for a different kind of strap-on sex that is good for any type of person. It's used by tightening it around one of the partner's legs and letting the other one ride the attachment/dildo of choice. This can be both alluring and exciting in a number of ways, one of the most fun being taking a regular lap dance to the "next level." Though it might seem odd at first, having someone move against your leg is actually quite enjoyable and good for teasing before the 'main event.'

Made out of a high quality, fairly thick harness leather, this harness is sure to last and be in commission for a long time. The leather has that wonderful leather scent, and it's very smooth and comfortable to wear. When I wore it over my pants a few times, it did not bleed or otherwise stain my pants, which was definitely a plus. It does have metal rings, though I do not know what type of metal it exactly is. Be cautious, just in case you have an allergy, before riding or wearing.

The leather does shed, so keep this in mind before putting it over clothing that it might leave particles behind on.

The design of this harness is just beautiful. I wouldn't consider it the most feminine of styles, but I still find it to be very, very lovely. It reminds me of a gun holster almost, which is in some ways amusing (pumps up the masculine look). The straps close by d-rings. I am not too fond of that really, and would prefer buckles, but they do keep them held pretty firmly on the thigh and allow for optimal adjustment.

The metal o-ring for this harness has a 2" diameter, which is pretty big, and most likely not necessary in most circumstances. Thankfully, it has snaps around it and can be changed out if you so desire. I love to put my Purr in it, because that's a great little dildo for lap...play?

The Fix thigh harness can fit thighs technically as small as 12" anywhere up to 28". Though 12" is a very small size for a thigh, I know, I've given it just in case. These measurements are technically how small and large the harness can be adjusted to—whether you need it that size or not is entirely up to you.

It has a length of about 8 1/2", meaning that the harness will extend the thigh for that much. Since I am so short (5' 1"), this almost takes up the entirety of my thigh. For others who are taller, it would probably look less like a holster and more like a harness. Regardless of it looking bulky on my body, I really like it because it's so attractive and fits so comfortably.

The harness will sometimes slide around a lot of thrusting motions get vigorous, but it can be tightened to avoid this. The time when it slipped the most was when I stood up afterward, which isn't such a big deal. Since getting fluids on this leather harness is inevitable, having a handy leather cleaner or even knowledge of cleaning leather is essential. I didn't use the original o-ring when using this since it was just so large, but putting another in was easy and painless.

Aside from that, it's comfortable, pretty attractive, and I really enjoyed it. I do feel that it's worth the money that is currently charged for it, especially since Outlaw Leather makes high quality, reliable harnesses that many people swear to and stand by.

If you don't already own a variety of o-rings, I suggest purchasing a few in order to make this work with smaller toys. A nice bullet is also a good addition for this harness (we have about ten of those, so we were fine).

Since the harness is leather, you can either clean it using a cloth with mild soap and water. You may also use leather cleaner, which is definitely preferred. I suggest being careful with lubricants, though getting them and other fluids on this harness is basically unavoidable. What I do when we get something on it is just wipe it with a wet cloth with maybe a little soap rubbed into it. This usually takes away any stains and keeps it from becoming crusty. Always make sure that after the harness has been cleaned that it is fully dried.

You can store this harness in any number of places: in a drawer, under a bed, hanging in a closet, or on a shelf. I personally keep mine in its velvet drawstring bag, on my shelf with my other toys. Hanging it up is a really good option too, just make sure to not keep it in any place that gets damp or has moisture build-up (like a bathroom).

The harness comes in a lovely drawstring velvet-like bag. It's very soft and plushy, and I really love it—it's the perfect back for things like glass dildos or other fragile attachments. That velvet bag is placed in a plastic baggie that isn't resealable. I usually keep the baggies, but you can either recycle it or throw it away. There were no instructions included with the thigh harness.

I really love how this comes with that beautiful drawstring velvet pouch. It's a really lovely addition! I also am really enjoying this thigh harness, and would love to get more use out of it. Some multi-uses for it, aside from just wearing it as a thigh harness, is to put it around a pillow for personal use. Though I don't suggest it for that (since it is so much money), it would be a nice investment.
