This being our first toy as advanced reviewers we were eager to get this item in the mail. Even more excited to try it out.

Yep...we were mildly annoyed....

Now mind you this item has some nice detail, the slightly raised veins and the wrinkling around the head is a nice touch. Sadly, it has the molding line from when it was made, VERY prominent. We didn't think that it would be an issue. Nope it was. Parts of it were raised up to the point that insertion was uncomfortable at best, at worst painful.

Now on the plus side, the vibrations this item gives are excellent. And the battery life it has is very long. The original batteries we put in it are still going strong and we've let that thing go for a good long time. It doesn't heat up really bad like our first vibrating toy, and the battery life is exponentially better.

As for the use of this item, sadly, it was rather short for our first experience with it due to the raised lines. My hubby gave this a good twist on the knob and it hummed happily to life, worked wonderfully as a clitoral vibe, the head while harder than a normal males still very close to the real thing as far as shape. He lubed up the toy and went for insertion. After a few movements it was clear that the raised lines were just not going to work. I would equate the sensation of those lines to your partner having long nails and accidentally scratching you with them during foreplay. I would like to note that it doesn't have an unpleasant odor or taste. Also the thought occurred to me that placing a condom on the toy would eliminate the feeling of the lines if one does not trust the steadiness of their hands to remove them with a sharp knife.

Overall we like this toy. Its going to require some careful exacto-knife care but once we remove those painful lines it will be probably a long standing addition to our bed.

Well as promised I'm updating on the results of the Xacto knife alterations: they worked wonders! Now I'm not saying it was easy, as the material bent or moved and made cutting hard but once we got the hang of it we smoothed away those lines in no time. Its not perfect but it is damn close. No more scratching painfully!
