Ocean Bliss is a glass piece that will really remind you of the ocean. Its beautiful blue-swirled head that's pronounced for extra pleasure, matched with its lovely little bumps along its shaft, will bring a wave of orgasms, one after the other. Though its base is very tiny and it may be a little overly textured for some people, it is a wonderful, beautiful dildo to own.

Use

Glass toys are beautiful, pleasurable, but are not the best for beginners. Since it's obviously an unyielding material, this toy retains its shape no matter what. No squishiness to hug against the user's walls. But this is also what makes glass so pleasurable, and in particular, the Ocean Bliss such an excellent toy. It is meant for people used to and who enjoy pronounced heads in their glass toys. It has a fairly thin diameter, but the head is fairly larger than the shaft of the toy, making it great for people who love phallic-like, textured dildos.

Though it does have a base, the base is pretty small, so use a lot of caution if using this anally. Make sure that you have a tight grip on it, or wrap a condom around it for retrieval in the case of any mishaps.

Material / Texture

Ocean Bliss is made of pyrex glass, one of the highest grades available. Instead of shattering into a million pieces when broken, it supposedly breaks off into larger pieces, which is great for cleaning up and not getting hurt. Though I've never personally tried to break this glass toy (which I do not recommend unless you really want to test it out and have the money to do so), this is the information that glass workers have given.

Glass is an unyielding material, as stated earlier. That means that if you cannot fit the toy, you will have to work up to it with other smaller toys. But a good thing about glass is that it is so smooth that it easily glides in when well-lubricated. It's a very easy-to-use material that warms up and cools down when put in the right conditions, like in boiling or iced water.

Design / Shape / Size

The dildo has a very thick, large head and a thin shaft that has little bumps over its length. It's a medium-sized (or smaller, to some people) toy that's very good for people who enjoy bumps and ridges and also phallic-shaped dildos. It's not, however, for people who have never used glass before, as a smaller, less textured toy might work better.

It's a very beautiful dildo, as the clear glass matched with the green and blue designs are really reminiscent of the ocean. The head is swirled blue, with some clear parts showing, and the shaft has blue and green raised bubbles (they are not actually bubbles in the material, though, just raised circles for texture).

Ocean Bliss's measurements are 6 1/2" insertable, and diameters of 1 1/2" at the largest point of the head, and 1" at the shaft.

Performance

For those that love phallic-shaped toys, Ocean Bliss is perfect. And since it's glass, it's especially good for brushing against that "hard to reach" g-spot some individuals have. The bubbles give a little bit more, that extra inch to bring it over the top and make it interesting. Also, the coloring is beautiful, so its very aesthetically pleasing as well; in other words, as good on the eyes as it is in the...well, you know.

My partner especially loved this toy since it's just the perfect shape for her. Using it in a thrusting motion, without clitoral stimulation, brought her to orgasm quite easily.

Care and Maintenance

Glass is extremely easy to take care of, so long as you store it in a padded area to keep it safe. It can be sanitized by being boiled for a few minutes, put in the dishwasher, or wiped down with a 10% bleach solution. This means that it can not only be shared between orifices, but it can also be shared between partners. Any sort of lubricant can be used with glass, so get out your favorite and ride it home!

To keep it stored, I suggest using the pouch that comes with it and putting it in a safe area.

Packaging

Ocean Bliss came in a little black suede-finish cotton pouch with pink satin lining. The pouch was also inside of a plastic wrap. Since the packaging was so minimal, it would be great as a gift and it is great for keeping it safe for storage. However, the pouch is not exactly very padded, so keep this in mind when using it. It is great for travel, though! The pouch's measurements are 5" by 11".

There were no instructions included, or even a tag mentioning the company, so it was extremely minimal.

    • For your first glass toy, I suggest something without extreme texture and a small girth. Both the Ocean Bliss and Blue Spiral G have a lot of texture.

      Within the same price range, you could check out Blue Hearts which has some texture, but not much, or the Cyclone Wand which has no texture.

      Or, alternatively, you could go with something that has two types of texture, bumps and spirals, so that you can decide what you like. Pink Allure would be a good choice, as would Bumpy Spiral and Royal Duet.

      The main issue you're going to have occur is possible internal bruising with a partner. Just make sure that you've used the toy before on your own so you can communicate what you like and what hurts with your partner. Keep the communication open and going and you should be fine with any of these. :)
