The G-Spot Gemstone by Toy Joy is, without a doubt, a petite glass dildo. The shaft measures approximately 3/4 of an inch in diameter where smooth, and about 1 inch in diameter over the small bulges. The toy isn’t very long either, measuring 5 1/2 inches in insertable length. I can’t help but think that this dildo would be perfect for travel because of it’s smallish size.

This is made out of tempered glass, which is shatter resistant. It is made to withstand extreme temperature changes and be very durable. Glass is non porous and can be easily sterilized via three methods: boiling for 3 minutes, dishwasher top rack no soap, or 10% bleach solution followed by hot water rinse. This is an excellent option for people who like to share their toys. All lubes are safe to use with glass, and soap and water or toy cleaner work well for clean up. Storage inside of something padded is suggested to protect the dildo.

While the little loop handle looks like an awesome idea, it is honestly very small. The inside has a diameter of 1/2 inch, and the whole thing is only 1 1/2 inches wide. Only those with dainty petite fingers would manage to get a finger inside of this loop. I did not need to get a finger inside to be able to use the handle, and a pincer grasp works well.

The small hook at the tip of the dildo is quite small and may not work the best in reaching everyone’s G-spot. If you require an aggressive curve to make it happen, then take this into consideration while looking at this toy.

The little pink bumps were actually more stimulating that I expected them to be. There are three sets of four rings of bulges. These were not uncomfortable for me at all, and I think this is due to the gentle shape of the bulges and the fact that this toy is so slender.

When glass is mentioned, temperature play usually is as well. This dildo is no exception to that rule. The glass generally stays pretty cool but heats up quickly during use. I rather enjoy that initial shock of coolness upon insertion, but if you do not fancy that sensation than you may simply heat the dildo prior to use. I do not recommend microwaving or freezing anything that will be going into your vagina. A safer approach is to run your dildo under warm tap water or place it in a bowl of hot water (or ice water if you want it cold).

While the little looped handle may look safe for anal play, I would suggest against it. Remember that the entire thing is only 1 1/2 inches wide. The only way I would ever feel safe using this up my ass would be if I had a rope through the loop and securely tied to something in the room. You would need a partner with an itsy-bitsy finger to hold onto it for you if you desired to try this anally during partner play. I would never suggest this for solo play, unless of course you have a handy rope lying about. Best to be safe and follow the mantra of “no base, no butt.”

When I first opened the discreet shipping box and saw this dildo inside I was a little disappointed. I love my other two glass dildos, and was excited to learn that I would be receiving a third glass dildo for review. I just couldn’t get over how small this thing really was. It only took a little bit of angling downward to get the little hook to reach my g-spot. Because of the loop handle, it was easy to wiggle the tip from side to side while maintaining firm pressure. It didn’t take long before I was climaxing multiple times. It just so turns out that small size can be just as amazing as large.

I was over all quite impressed with the quality and simple yet effective design. That little loop may be too small for me to comfortably hook a finger through, but it still works great for hanging on while everything is covered in lube and body fluids. I would recommend this glass dildo to anyone, but especially to those who are uncomfortable using large toys or who want something simple.
