When I first heard of glass dongs I was like “Hell no! Never ever! That would so shatter in my $ussy, and I so am not trying to go to the ER and explain that”. But every where I turn I keep seeing them, and hearing how wonderful they are. I was still not feeling it and then the prices were oh so high. I figured I would never have to worry about it, because I was so never going to pay $100+ dollars for a toy that did not vibrate, light up, or sing me to sleep. But now there are glass dildos under $50. People swear they will not break, and do not shatter, so I broke down and had to give one a try.

So, I decided on The Diamond Dazzler at under $30 I figured I could not go wrong. I was hoping to find a glass toy that came with a padded storage bag, but this toy did not so I still need to buy one. I am happy to say that The Diamond Dazzler came in the most attractive box of any sex toy I have ever purchased. On the box was a cute butterfly, and not a naked woman in sight. When I opened the box I experienced another first, my a toy without a smell.

It was smaller than I thought, 7" long and 1 1/8" wide. I guess I looked at the weight at half a pound and thought it would be massive. It was not, but it did have a nice weight to it.

So I washed my toy in hot water with a little soap, and dried it with a paper towel. I am happy to say nothing stuck to it. I looked at it up close, and at the base there are some bubbles in the glass and a few scuffs at the tip but no chips in sight. I was a little worried to use it because of those factors, so I ran my hands over it plenty before I decided it was safe. I grabbed a glass of ice water and ran it under the hot once again and got down to business.

You can really feel how hot it is, going in. I put a little water based lube on the tip and that was all I needed. At times because it was so slippery, I wish it was a little longer and the ball at the base a little larger. When I gripped it to twist and turn, it stayed wet but no big deal.

The bulged texture of the toy was great; you could really feel it in particular when I angled it to the left or right. They were just big enough. The size of the purple bulges were like painted fingernails. Some were missing bits of paint so I am sure they will fade with time.

I would not use for anal, since it gets so wet and slippery, I can see it getting lost. If you are afraid to use with a clit vibe because you think it might break, I did and it did not.

When done I washed it with warm water and then sprayed with toy cleaner. I dried it with a paper towel and nothing stuck to it. Heaven, because I hate lint stuck to my toys.

What can I say I love it more and more every time I use it? I still do not use it in my anus, but placing it up against its opening is really a lot of fun. It really makes me want to get a glass anal plug or thin rod. The only down side is the paint continues to chip.
