The Galaxy is what it says it is, a Vibrator with a unique spiral ridge down the shaft. Used mainly for Clitoral and Vaginal stimulation, we've been able to use this for a bit of anal play (with some prior prep work) as well. It's a little larger than you'd think, and the first spiral of the ridge makes it a little fun to work in like a corkscrew.

The vibration of it is decent as well and you can tell there's something buzzing between your legs when working with this vibe.

The Galaxy is made of a soft rubber that actually bends a little towards the tip. It's easy to clean and take care of and has held up over the years of use. The "new car smell" goes away with time and use as well as careful cleaning and isn't an issue at all.

The other review on the Galaxy likened it to working with a juicer, which is understandable if you use it as a traditional smooth vibrator or dildo. The spiral really works best if you twist the vibrator as you work it in and out like a corkscrew.

The additional spiraling motion helps to enhance the experience and makes it a little less "painful". It's not recommended for beginning anal play as it's a little large and the ridge is uncomfortable at first, but it makes a good toy for later on.

The "on/off" and speed switch is one knob on the bottom of the vibe. It's pretty easy to use one handed (especially if the other hand is occupied) and does a pretty good job of getting the speed set right. It's a little tough to get it to the right setting, but the rotating speed switch makes it easy to vary the speed and intensity of the vibration.

It's not waterproof, so you can't use it in the tub, but it does clean up easily with water if you're careful.

Care of the Galaxy is pretty straightforward, we've mostly used it with water-based lube which washes up fairly easily with water and a little antibacterial soap; then dry it with a towel. We've kept it in a drawer next to our bed and it's been great!

It's a good vibe for someone who wants a basic device. For the price you can't go wrong.

My wife received this as a bachelorete gift before our wedding. I think I've probably used it for anal play more than she's used it for vaginal.

The spiral design with the vibration is pretty nice once you get used to the size.
