Sparkle vibes - traditional vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by markeagleone

This vibrator was ordered by my wife. Now, I guess I understand a bit more about her. She tends to go for the small, petite toys, while I tend to gravitate to the extremely large, all the bells and whistles, type of toy. It is nice when worlds collide, though! On to the review:

The Sparkle Vibes are part of the Shane's world collection of toys made by Cal Exotics. It is a very small, but powerful vibrator. It is the hallmark of good things come in small packages.

It is a great toy for solo play. It is small enough that it could be taken almost anywhere. It can also make a great gift for a close friend, or that someone special. It can be use by beginners as well as experienced users. It is all aspects, a traditional vibe, just a bit size challenged. For couples play, this would probably be more of a tease, but it can be used to stimulate the clitoris, while your partner is up to other things.

All in all, the best feature is the size. It doesn't give up anything as far as power goes. Its size just makes it easier to take with you when you are away from home.

This petite vibrator is made from plastic. It is latex and phthalate free. It is also Hypo-allergenic. There was no smell to it when it arrived. Its body is completely smooth. The plastic is semi-transparent, with the color and glitter effect partially hiding the battery and the vibrator motor. The body is completely rigid, without any flexing to the plastic.The battery cover and the control knob have multiple ridges, for a better finger grip.

I would put this toy in the hands of both beginners and the more experienced. It is small and easily hidden for travel. The more experienced users should also like the fact that this toy doesn't give anything up as far as intensity of the vibrations.

The only thing that this toy gives up is the fact that it cannot be taken into a pool or tub. A shower would work well, but there is no o-ring to prevent water from entering the battery cover or the control knob.

The Sparkle Vibrator is 5 1/4 inches long. It has an insertable length of 4 1/2 inches, with a base of 3/4 of an inch in length. It has a diameter of 1 inch. The actual vibrating(offset shaft end)tip of the motor is located 1 3/8 inches from the tip of the vibrator. The battery and motor balance the vibrator at the center.

This product makes a great all over body massager. The tip is easily used with some amount of force to get rid of those tight muscular problems. It stimulates the nipples, labia, clitoris as well as a partial insertion. It can also work on the male scrotum and the perineum. The only thing this vibrator gives up is the ability to have a full insertion.

As I have stated earlier, beginners and experienced users should love this toy. Its size makes it excellent for travel, but I would have second thoughts about a plane trip. It also is easily taken on those special nature hikes, or outdoor romantic picnics.

Remember, this toy was not designed for anal use. The size and the lack of a flared base puts this one especially at a high risk of losing it somewhere you do not want to. Don't take the chance. Purchase a toy made for that function!

The control knob is located at the base of the vibrator. It is well made with the aspect that it only takes a fraction of a turn before the motor starts. The vibrations are primarily located at the tip, but do to the hard, plastic shell, they can also be felt throughout the vibrator. It takes about a third of a turn to go from off to the highest vibration setting. The control knob is also extremely easy to turn with one finger, but offers enough resistance that accidental changes are minimized.

The noise this vibrator puts out ranges from a battery operated shaver to a electric shaver. The vibrations are stronger than many of the larger sized traditional style vibrators.

This particular vibrator is unfortunately, not waterproof. Although this toy could be used in the shower, it cannot be submerged. That is the only downside to this toy, in this reviewers eyes.

Care and maintenance of this vibrator series is quite easy. Do not boil this product. High temperatures will cause this product to distort and may render it useless. This toy can be simply cleaned with soap and water. A toy cleaner, or alcohol can be used, if need be. Take caution not to subject the control and battery cover to submersion in water. Please, wear a condom if you share. I recommend not to share any toy. Better safe, then sorry!

This toy takes one AA battery. Please remember to remove it before storing. Also, keep a spare on hand.

This toy can be used with all lube types. Just remember to clean it before and after each use.

There are no real requirements as far as storage go. Just make sure it's clean and dry, preferably with the battery removed. My wife and I store hers in the original packaging.

This vibrator came in a plastic packaging that is transparent. It is no way discreet, being it can be seen and looks give it away as to its purpose. There is a insert that states it is from Shane's world. It says party perfect and lists the manufacture as California Exotics. It is manufactured in China. It also gives the website for product registration. The package is a clear molded plastic, which makes an excellent storage place for this toy. The package is 4 3/4 inches wide, by 7 1/2 inches tall, and 1 3/4 inches deep. There is a hole at the top for hanging. The case is hinged at the bottom and the package makes a tight seal when closed.

There is a directional sheet included for the placement of the battery. It also lists placement of multiple toys in the manufacturer's product line.

I have to say this little vibrator is a great addition to the collection. Although I had my doubts about it when I first saw it, this little vibe sure proved its worth. Now that summer is coming, I hope it will get to see the great outdoors, from a certain indoor type perspective.

This vibrator has gone from good over all body massages to playful teasing. In my defense, I bought this Sparkle Vibe a few months back. I think it was in my first order I placed with Eden, you know before I knew about everything out there.

This was purchased because it was far from intimidating, small, cute, and purple. Oh yeah, and it had sparkles (that sounds so childish). This little vibe from Shane's World is nothing to leave dismissed.

This little multi-speed vibe is powerful for its size and the vibrations are felt strongly throughout, from base to the tapered tip. Even on low, it has a stronger steady vibration that is perfect for use on all sensitive areas. I have used this vibe for nipple stimulation, as well as for clitoral play. The more you twist the base, the stronger the vibrations are. The twist base makes this useful for both solo and couples play. On high and with the tapered end, this little vibe is spectacular for clitoral play.

I love that this is small enough to throw into a small purse or bag and be taken anywhere. The Sparkle Vibe is quiet. Well, it is not any louder then my electric razor. It can be heard underneath a blanket, but not behind closed doors, which makes it perfect for when visitors are around.

This toy has become more of a "teaser" item and is used to get things moving in the right direction. I would recommend this for beginners, just for the fact of its size and looks. The more advanced users might appreciate the "punch" the little Sparkle Vibe gives. I would not recommend using this anally, as its size and lack of flared base could lead to a dangerous situation.

Overall, even though I may be getting spoiled by bigger things, I love the simplicity of this vibe and the many uses and sensations that you can have with it. I love the vibrations that it sends out, especially when used during massages. Even my husband could use this to stimulate his more sensitive areas, which makes this toy worth more than the $8.00 spent on it. At this price, I do plan on getting one in each color. These are a reliable "go-to" vibe and worthy of being added to ones collection.
