The Dual Action Infrared Massager is a vibrator best used for vaginal and clitoral stimulation. In addition to the standard vibrating feature of similar toys within its price range, this toy has the added feature of using infrared rays to heat up the bedroom. Although the heat of this toy is not very strong, it is at least noticeable, and will not by any stretch of the imagination burn the skin. The warmth of this toy may be used to stimulate the skin during foreplay as a tease, and may be used in tandem with vibrations.

The toy is made of black hard plastic and looks rather plain at first glance. It is not until the heat is turned on and the tip glows red that this toy looks special. The heated tip of this vibrator is the real appeal to the toy. There are not many vibrators available that use infrared heat to warm the toy up before insertion, and if you have ever been turned off by a cold toy, your partner's cold fingers, or letting cold air under the sheets, you already know how pleasant extra warmth can be in the bedroom! The only downside is that the Dual Action Infrared Massager may not feel hot enough, especially after prolonged use, or special enough for the advanced toy users out there.

This is a hard plastic toy, in most part very smooth, but for the slightly raised (rubber?) lip connecting the heated head to the shaft. There is really no texture to this toy, and users may not even notice the bump between the head and the body of the toy. It essentially has no smell or taste and is a neutral black color, except when the heat is turned on and the tip glows red.

The head of this vibrator is a parallelogram approximately 1/2 an inch in height, and over 1.5 inches in length. When the infrared heating feature is turned on, the tip of the vibe glows red and begins to heat up. Within a few minutes it begins to feel noticeably warmer than the hard plastic of the shaft, and after about 5 minutes the heat plateaus. The heated head only feels about as warm as warm skin, so there is no danger of burning oneself on this toy, even during prolonged use.

The design of this toy allows for 7 inches of safe penetration with a diameter of 1.5 inches throughout. The plastic is smooth, with a slight bump where the shaft meets the heated head of the vibrator. The Dual Action Infrared Massager is only .3 lbs so it would be easy to travel with, but don't expect anyone who looks at it to think it is anything but a vibrator.

There are two wheels at the base of this vibrator. The second and smaller wheel at the very base of the toy can be spun to increase the intensity of the vibrations by increments, or turn them all the way off. It may sound complicated, but essentially you have the option to turn on the heat only, or heat with any intensity of vibrations, or just the vibrations. The heat can not be turned up or down, and will eventually reach a few degrees of raised temperature, not really any warmer than the heat of warm skin, and only located in the tip of the toy.

When the vibrations are turned on they are mainly located at the tip of the vibrator, and grow steadily weaker towards the base. At the highest setting of vibrations it will probably be loud enough to be heard through a door, and the weakest setting isn't much quieter. You always have the option of only turning on the heat and using the toy without vibrations, in which case it would be quiet enough to sneak by a ninja.

Caring for the toy should be easy, as the hard plastic is non-porous and easy to clean. One nuisance is that there is really no 'off' switch for this toy, but if it is set to 'vibrations,' and the wheel is turned all the way down to zero, it will essentially be turned off. The only problem then is if the wheel spins in storage it will begin to vibrate, so if your toy drawer is a little cluttered, you may just want to remove the batteries on this one between uses. As already stated, the Dual Action Infrared Massager should be compatible with any lubricants or other toys.
