It is pretty tranquil

The Tranquility from the Whisper Collection of NassToys is a good beginner vibe, but honestly there are better beginner vibes out there. It's average. It has three vibration speeds that are all very buzzy and none that are really that exciting. The interesting shape of the shaft is lost in how smooth and narrow the toy is.

Pros
Phthalates-free, smooth for easy insertion, 3 speeds, great if you like high-frequency vibes.
Cons
Not for experienced users, can't feel the shape, may be too narrow, vibes are nothing special.

Use

The Tranquility from NassToys is a small vibe designed as in introduction for beginners to the lovely world of sex toys. The motor of the toy is located in the bulb at the head of the toy, making this toy great for clitoral stimulation, but it can lose some of its oomf when inserted vaginally. (This toy lacks a flared base so it is NOT anal friendly!) This toy would be a good start for someone just beginning to experiment with vibration.

Material / Texture

The tranquility is made of Phthalates-free ABS plastic. It has no smell or taste, and to the touch feels just like very smooth, hard plastic. The smooth texture makes insertion and thrusting extremely easy, making it great for toy beginners. Anyone more advanced than a beginner may likely feel that the smooth texture takes away from the stimulation.

Design / Shape / Size

I thought the design of the Tranquility looked interesting. The bulb at the head was pronounced but not overly, and the ridge in the middle of the toy seemed unique. It looked like it would provide a good amount of stimulation but the material is so smooth that I could barely feel the shape at all. The size of this toy is also made for beginners. I'm anything but a size queen, but this was just too small to cause any big fireworks. The toy is too short and narrow for g-spot stimulation. It really only works as a clitoral vibe.

Its size does work for this toy in that it would be easy to hide and to travel with, as long as you take the batteries out first. It isn't very quiet, in fact it's no Hitatchi but this thing is loud, so I would take the Bee rating into account before calling this one discreet.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Running on two AAA's, this toy delivers most of its power to the very tip of the toy. It comes with three settings: low, medium, and high - which you cycle through using one very easy to push button on the end. There is no automatic shut off with this toy, so if you need to turn it off, you have to cycle through the settings until the end. The vibrations are very high frequency, the type that buzz rather than the ones that thrum or hum. This one gives off a pretty loud buzz, especially on high, and at a pitch that is distracting.

The batteries are easy to install, as they slip into a little plastic container that you pop into the vibe. It's hard to tell which way the whole carrier goes into the vibe. But, if you put it in the right way you get 3 settings of vibration, and if you put it in the wrong way you only get one lower vibration that you can't turn off without removing the batteries.

It is waterproof and held up well in water in my experience.

Care and Maintenance

ABS plastic is easy to care for: just wipe down with soap and water before and after use. The smooth plastic is very easy to clean. It is not entirely non-porous, so if you are sharing be sure to cover it with a condom to be safe. It doesn't pick up lint or hairs, so it could likely be stored wherever is convenient. I have been keeping mine in the clam shell it came in. ABS plastic is compatible with all types of lubrication.

Packaging

The Tranquility comes in a clear plastic clam shell, with no half naked porn stars on the front, just swirly orange graphics. It could be used as a storage box and would function as a plain gift box. There were no instructions included besides the type and number of batteries it takes.

Experience

All in all, I found the Tranquility to be rather boring. The vibrations were so high frequency and average that I couldn't really get turned on by them at all. The only way this toy got me off, was if I inserted the batteries wrong since that extra accident setting had a much lower frequency vibration. It was still a pretty mediocre orgasm. It may be a good toy as an introduction for beginners, but that's about as far as this one goes.
