Houston's Pink Leopard is A-FREAKING-mazing. When I bought it two years ago, it was my first toy and I was a bit intimidated by the idea of being in a sex shop. Having been raised in an environment where the subject of sex is taboo and the people who frequent sex shops should do so wearing sunglasses and trench coats. So I donned my darkest shades, traveled as far away from my neighborhood as possible and bought the most unimposing vibrator known to man. The Leopard was the cutest thing I'd ever seen. For a virgin (like me), it wasn't so big that I had to fear for my life when using it and the pattern was so cute that it made me comfortable.
The Leopard can be used solely for clitoral stimulation or for shallow penetration in the vagina or anus (only if properly lubricated). It can also be used on nipples and other sensitive parts of the body. It can be held stationary; but, personally, I feel that it is but when it's moved around. The intensity of the vibration is pretty good for a small vibe. Add to all this the fact that it was super reliable (I used it faithfully for two years before it finally burned out) and easy to hide and the vibrator is not only a bargain but a must have. The only thing better would be if it was waterproof... oh wait... IT IS! Like I said: A-FREAKING-mazing.

The Leopard is made of hard plastic. It has absolutely no scent... unless the person using it is unwise enough to forget to wash it. Aside from that the only thing that the person using it can smell when putting the toy close to their face is whatever antibacterial soap or toy cleaner they decide to use.
Toy is firm, which transmits vibrations EXTREMELY well. There are no ridges, alternate textures, or curves that aide stimulation but the streamlined design is still really good. However, after two years the smooth, straight, up-and-down shaft begins to get boring.

The design is not really spectacular. If you're a fan of the traditional bullet shape (with the feminine touch of leopard spots) the Leopard is a great fit. The type of plastic used is smooth and... slippery when wet. The first time that I used the toy I was a bit upset, however, to learn that once it is lubricated it needs to be held in place. Removing both hands to stimulate other parts of the body is completely out of the question when using the Leopard because when left alone it immediately starts to work its way back out. During my first attempt to use the toy I made the mistake of touching my breasts, trusting the Leopard to stay in place while I worked on truly getting myself excited. A few seconds later the Leopard dropped onto my mattress (or specifically the towel on my mattress) and I had to retrieve it and work it back in to its original position.
Once I mastered the Leopard the size became an issue. It just wasn't big enough or long enough once I was used to the slender Leopard. Somethings even the cutest of patterns cannot make up for. When the Leopard finally gave out I wasn't the least bit sorry to see it go. It served me well but it was simply time for me to get an upgrade.

As far as controls go the Leopard is the most basic of all. It has a simple twist control located at base of the toy. While most would be more than glad to avoid all the flashing lights and multiple buttons of other toys but there are definite downsides:
1. Although the controls are simple and easy to locate, they are difficult to maneuver during insertion. Turning the dial while the toy is inside you requires you to expend more energy and thought than I am personally capable of while masturbating.
2. As previously mentioned, I lose all sense during play, thus the following issue: I forget which direction to turn the knob. It's possibly the most embarrassing and frustrating thing that could ever happen; but, while using the Leopard, I am in constant danger of turning it down or off when I need desperately to turn it up to get over the last hurdle to orgasm.
On the bright-side the Leopard has a great amount of power to be so small. The speed goes from light buzzing to a full blown clitoral assault (yes I said assault). I was so pleasantly surprised by the output of this relatively tame vibe, that the first time using it I had an EXTREMELY happy ending.

It lasted for two years... May it rest in peace.

The beauty of this toy is that there is very little to do in the way of maintenance. Since it is made of ordinary smooth, hard, plastic, all it requires is a little antibacterial soap and water or the toy cleaner of the user's choice. For obvious reasons it should neither be boiled nor put into the dishwasher (ewwww). The hard plastic is non-porous and phthalate free and can be used without condoms as long as only one person is using it. Bonus: it only takes a little lube to get this toy slippery and it can be stored just about anywhere due to its size.
