G-spot vibrator discontinued
by NMC Ltd

Sexy, slim, sultry ... and somewhat disappointing

It's a great design, good for thrusting and G-spot stimulation. It has strong vibrations and some interesting patterns. The vibrations are very high-pitched, so it's good for those who like "buzzy" vibrators.

Use

This is a versatile vibrator, capable of providing G-spot stimulation but also usable for clitoral stimulation or any other external use. Don't use it anally, as it lacks a flared base so it wouldn't be safe.

The bent tip at the end is clearly intended for G-spot usage, but it's fairly subtle and unobtrusive, so the vibrator works well for thrusting even if you're not really looking for heavy G-spot stimulation.

That tip on the end is also usable for clitoral stimulation. The vibration on this one is pretty strong near the tip of the shaft, so it works well for that.

Material / Texture

Most of the exposed surface of the vibrator is made from a velvety silicone, but the base (where the buttons and battery compartment are) is shiny hard plastic. These are relatively safe materials, and you don't have to worry about phthalates.

The silicone is on the firmer end of the spectrum, but not super firm. It's just soft and pliable enough to give when it needs to, but it's hard enough that it isn't floppy or squishy. It has a nice, subtle texture which is somewhat velvety. All in all, it's a great material. There's a very faint odor, but that may be from the packaging as it dissipates after a while.

Design / Shape / Size

The shaft of the vibrator is long and thin. There's about 6 inches of usable length (plus another two inches for the base) and a diameter of about 1 1/8 inches. It's a good size for those who are just getting into toys; it's not big enough to be intimidating, but it's also not too small to get the job done.

The shaft is not perfectly straight; there are some subtle waves and bulges in it, plus a noticeable bend at the end for G-spot stimulation. While subtle, the bulges do provide noticeable extra stimulation while thrusting.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrator has ten settings, including several intensity levels and a number of patterns, some of which I haven't seen before. Note that the intensity cannot be adjusted separately from the patterns, and most of the patterns are pretty strong.

The controls are not difficult to operate, with an on/off button and a button that switches between the different settings. When you turn it off, it remembers what setting it was on so the next time you turn it on it will be exactly how you left it. This is a nice touch if you've found one setting that you love, and you don't want to have to cycle through all the other settings to get to it.

The first three settings are high/medium/low. This surprised me.. I'm used to vibrators that start on a low setting. This one starts on high. The second and third settings are progressively weaker, but they're still quite strong. My girlfriend and I were disappointed that there wasn't a bigger range of intensity levels.

The fourth setting alternates between the three intensity levels, whereas the fifth setting jumps back and forth between high and low. The sixth setting is interesting. It's mostly at the high intensity, but with periodic brief dips down to a lower intensity. It's hard to describe. This setting intrigued my girlfriend, but she was disappointed that she couldn't alter the intensity or speed of the pattern.

The seventh setting is like the high setting, but it pulses on and off. The eighth setting is on low intensity with periodic ramping up to high, and the 9th setting is the opposite. The tenth setting is like the seventh, but on a lower intensity.

Each of the settings makes a different sound; some of them are a bit wacky-sounding. We giggled a bit at the beeping and such that it made. It's much less noticeable when it's inserted, but if you're using it externally it's a bit noisy. Not super loud, but it's definitely not silent.

The vibrations are pretty strong for a 2 AA toy, and they're very high pitched. Buzzy, not thrumming. This was a disappointment, as my girlfriend and I prefer vibrators that use motors which are lower speed and higher torque. None of the settings were satisfying for us, due to the high frequency of the vibrations.

It's unclear from the packaging whether the toy is meant to be completely waterproof, or whether it's just water resistant (for use in the shower and such). I have not tested it fully submerged, and would probably only use it in the shower, not the bathtub.

Care and Maintenance

As a vibrator with internal motor and battery compartment, you won't want to boil this or run it through a dishwasher as you might with certain other silicone toys. Instead, you should wash it with soap and water, being careful to keep water out of the battery compartment.

If you need to disinfect it, wipe it with a diluted bleach solution. But if you want to share the toy, I'd instead recommend using a condom on it. It's much easier and safer.

As a silicone product, you should probably only use water-based lubricants with it. Silicone lube can have bad reactions with silicone toys.

Packaging

The packaging is a plastic box, with garish pink and purple markings. It's covered in text, in a real mishmash of fonts and sizes. I find the text hard to read, which is a problem in that the only useful instructions included with the toy are the ones on the back of the box. You will want to read the box to find out how to use the controls, what the vibration patterns are, and how to install the batteries.

There's a generic instruction sheet inside the box, but it doesn't actually describe this model vibrator. (It mentions how to insert batteries on a few different types of battery compartments, but none of them match what this vibrator has.) Ignore the paper instructions; read the back of the box instead.

Experience

My girlfriend and I liked the design and the materials, and we found the vibration patterns interesting, but we were disappointed with the buzziness of the vibrations and the inability to control the intensity as we desired. We find it usable as a dildo, but the vibrations just aren't right for us.
