Superstar vibes - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Foxx

The Superstar Vibe fell into my hands as a free gift from EdenFantasys, and I have to say I'm glad it did. I'm more of a bullet and clitoral stimulation kind of girl, so I generally haven't paid much attention to what I'd call the regular vibrators. The Superstar may have changed my mind on that.

The first thing I noticed when removing it from the packaging is the striking traffic cone orange color, which I adore. The Superstar itself is crafted from a pretty hard plastic with deep grooves running lengthwise along the toy, which tapers to a rounded point. The control consists of a dial on the end that, unlike many vibrators, is a separate turning piece than that of the screw-on cap. This is really nice in that the battery cap can be completely tightened so that it doesn't loosen and fall off while not running down the battery. Also, the speed dial itself is much less likely to accidentally turn on. On that same note, while playing the speed dial is not exactly the smoothest thing to operate. It takes a little bit of force to turn, which can be a little irritating if trying to use the toy with one hand.

When turned on, the Superstar has the capacity to go from a slight tingle to a much stronger vibration that, although focused on the tip, can be felt along the grooves of the length. The grooves and vibration along with the size worked perfectly for me when playing with insertion, and was really both comfortable and exciting. I haven't tested this one out in the water yet (as it is waterproof), but I am excited to see how it fares. It is not really quiet when turned to the higher levels, so be aware that it may be difficult to be discreet with this one.

The smooth surface of the vibe is excellent for maneuvering and the harder plastic feels tremendously durable. Overall, I was very pleased with this toy and may start expanding my horizons toward other traditional style vibrators.
