Flexible G-spot vibrator discontinued

The Wonder Vibe

The Wonder Vibe is a nubby, ridgy, vein-y, smooth-shafted toy - a plethora of sensations that you can even take into the shower, since it's waterproof, too. It's contoured to fit the body, and the tip flexes and bends for an even more personal fit.

Use

The Wonder Vibe has a thin and flexible stimulating tip that gradually tapers to a slightly thicker shaft, so it's made for both the beginner and the intermediate G-spot lover. With one ribbed side, one nubby side, and smooth shaft, it's nicely textured. Because of the bend on the tip, this vibe is also nicely shaped for clitoral stimulation or prostate fun (but be sure to cover it with a condom, and don't fully insert it as there's no base - use common sense and be careful). Plus, it's waterproof - so you can take it into the shower, bath, or poolside for a change of scenery.

Material / Texture

The Wonder Vibe feels smooth and velvety, and the nubs and veins/ridges are flexible and not uncomfortably hard. It comes slightly perfumed and in the week I've had it, that sweet smell has barely faded at all (I'm personally not a fan of it, but others might like it). The contrast of the different textures and smooth shaft give it a jack-of-all-trades quality - there's something in this vibe for everyone.

Design / Shape / Size

The shape of this vibe reminds me of an electric toothbrush. It's bigger at the base, tapered to the end, and bends a little at the tip. The underside of the bend is ridged, and the top is nubby, with the very tip smooth for easy insertion. The end is also bendable and springy. It'll curve along with your body, but not stick in a certain position. It's a nice contour, and a medium size - and since it's tapered, would probably be suit beginners as well as intermediates.

This toy is pretty easy to hide. It's purple, but since it's matte instead of shiny it's not very eye-catching. It's easily stuff-able under a pillow if worst comes to worst. It's too large for a purse, but would do fine in a bag or suitcase.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy functioned pretty well. The vibrations spread evenly throughout, and the levels were easily controlled with the dial on the bottom. Having said that, the dial is a little hard to turn with slippery fingers, and I had a few problems with it suddenly stopping or adjusting, but it wasn't enough to take me away from the fun or make me not want to use it. The vibrations are fairly powerful without being extremely noisy.

The tip is flexible and slightly springy, so you can hit that G-spot just the way you want.

Care and Maintenance

This is a low-maintenance toy. It's compatible with both silicone and water-based lubes, and is semi-porous. You should cover it with a condom when sharing or trying it out in new places. Then just wash it off with soap and water or toy cleaner. It runs on two AAA batteries, which should be taken out between uses to prevent corrosion.

Packaging

The packaging is pretty plain. It's obvious that it's a sex toy, but not trashy. There aren't any directions on the packaging, and it's not suitable for a gift box.
Follow-up commentary
My favorite use of this toy is actually using the 'g-spot' tip on my clit while using a non-vibrating dildo inside. The vibrations are nice for a normal session, and with the right dildo (I just used it with the Lovemoiselle Noemie) I can achieve a star-seeing, bed-moving orgasm.

It still has that weird smell, though. While it's not a 'nasty' smell, I still don't care for it. I think most girls would like it; I'm just not one for perfumes or strong scents. It's to the point that I'd suggest if you have migraines like me, keep it somewhere you won't smell it much, in its original packaging or a bag.

The textures on this look SO cool, but I kind of wish it was made of silicone.
    Good review!

I agree. The textures are nice, but they would be so much nicer and easier to clean if they were silicone. Plus, I'm a huge silicone fan anyway.
