This was my first time ever using a ring, and I loved it! First off, I was worried that the jelly/rubber feeling would pull any hair, but it didn't which was a plus. The ring has a great feel to it, even without the bullet in it. The smell of the bunny was horrible at first, but after one wash it goes away. The ring is very easy to wash. I wouldn't wash the bullet since it doesn't seem waterproof, but wipes would be good to clean it with.
