One Giant Cock Ring

This dual vibrating cock ring is designed to provide stimulation for both partners during sex and features an innovative clicker-style controller unit that offers seven different levels of vibrations. It's bulky compared to most cock rings though, so may not be suitable for everyone.

Use

The Climax Clicks Two Hearts cock ring is designed for couples, with one end meant to stimulate the testicles and the other to pleasure the clitoris, and you can play around with it to determine which end you prefer. Some users may feel intimidated by the unusually large size of this toy, but the material is soft and stretchy and it's not difficult to wear.

The added bonus is that the twin bullet vibrators can be removed from the cock ring, giving couples an extra tool to spice up things in the bedroom and making this toy great for solo play as well. The bullets can be used on the breasts, perineum, or anywhere else on the body.

Because of the size of the end pieces, you will lose about 2" of thrusting depth when you're wearing the cock ring, so if you're a shorter endowed man you may not find this toy enjoyable to use with a partner.

Material / Texture

The cock ring unit is made of thermoplastic rubber (TPR) that is super stretchy so it will accommodate men of varying girths. It's hard to describe the feeling of it except to say that it's like a boneless raw chicken breast--- very spongy but firm at the same time, and it bounces back into shape immediately. Fear not though, unlike a raw chicken breast the TPR material poses no health hazards, as it's hypo-allergenic and contains no phthalates or latex. It *is* semi-porous though, and you can't cover it with a condom, so that's something to keep in mind if you aren't fluid bonded with your partner.

The surface of the TPR is very soft with a tacky feel that creates some drag on the skin, but it takes lube well which eliminates the drag if you don't like it. This does mean that you'll want to be careful where you lay it down though, because it's a serious magnet for any dust, lint or hair that might be around and it requires rinsing to remove such things. There's also a strong rubbery scent to the material, which does dissipate somewhat with washing, but returns after the toy has been stored.

The controller is made of hard plastic that has a wonderful velvety texture and ridged vinyl grips on the side, while the bullets are made of super slick shiny hard plastic. It's all phthalates-free, and has a very faint plastic scent, but you have to stick your nose on it to smell it.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

Like all cock rings, the Two Hearts is intended to help maintain erections, and the super thick ring grips tight enough that it does just that. Unlike other cock rings though, this one is BIG, measuring a full 6" long with 2" end pieces and a fairly hefty weight. Beginners may want to try wearing something smaller until they get used to the feel of wearing a cock ring before they slip this big boy on.

This isn't a toy that could be easily hidden, but with the jovial heart and sunburst ends anyone who wasn't in the sex toy loop would probably be hard-pressed to figure out what it was.

The power cord is 30" long, and splits into a "Y" to attach to each of the bullets. When you first get the toy, there is only about 2" of cord between where the "Y" begins and the bullets attach, which doesn't give much leeway for playing with the bullets separately. However, if you look closely the main cord is actually two thinner cords joined together, and you can gently pull them apart without damaging them. This gives you enough slack that you can easily stimulate the breasts and genitals at the same time when you aren't using the ring.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controller pulls apart into two halves, and two AAA batteries (which are not included) fit into the bottom half. A major plus for this toy is that you can use rechargeable batteries in it to save money! There's an on/off button on the front of the controller, and you click the white plastic piece under the handle to cycle through the vibration patterns. The design is brilliant, because it's easy to hold onto, and you don't have to worry about accidentally changing the vibes in the middle of the action.

The twin bullets slip easily in place on the cock ring, and stay put even during vigorous play. They vibrate at the same setting and cannot be controlled separately. There are seven patterns of vibrations that we noted:

1. constant high-speed vibration
2. pulsing vibrations, about 2 pulses per second
3. about 7 seconds of pulses, then 15 of constant vibration
4. 10 one-second vibration pulses, then 4 seconds of low-level vibrations
5. 5 seconds each of low-level vibrations, then medium-level, then strong
6. 3 seconds of pulsations, then a long medium-level vibration
7. about 4 seconds of pulses, then 15 of constant vibration

If you turn the toy off and then turn it on again, it will always return to level #1 by default.

The spongy TPR material doesn't seem to hamper any of the strength of the vibrations, but instead distributes it evenly all over both of the end pieces. The vibes are slightly less intense in the part that actually slips onto your cock, but sensitive men still might not enjoy the strength of the stimulation.

The toy is fairly quiet; loud enough to be heard in the bedroom, but it's very doubtful anyone could hear it through a closed door.

Care and Maintenance

You can use toy cleaner or warm water and mild soap to wash both the cock ring and the controller/bullets unit since everything is waterproof. Neither can be sterilized though. The ring is only compatible with water-based or silicone lubricants, but if you are using the bullets separately, any lube is ok on them. We tested it with a water-based lubricant and had no problem with any residue on any part of the toy.

Store the Two Hearts toy away from other toys to avoid any potential problems with material interactions.

Packaging

The toy comes packaged in a medium-sized white cardboard box with thin cellophane windows in the front and one side so the toy is visible. You could wrap it for gift-giving, but there is a stiff cardboard hang tag all the way across the top that you'd have to either remove or wrap around. Inside the box is a clear plastic tray with an indention for the toy to lay in, and a thin plastic lid. You *could* use it for short-term storage, but it's much easier just to toss the toy in a Ziploc bag instead.

The back of the box has a list of the product's features along with some very brief care instructions and tiny pictures of Topco's Climax lubricants. There is also a note telling you what size batteries it takes, along with a message encouraging you to use rechargeable batteries. The bottom of the box has information on the toy's 30-day warranty, and some standard cautions about using the toy such as "discontinue use if you experience pain", etc.
There is also a slip of paper in the battery compartment of the toy's controller so you know which way to insert them.

Experience

Michele says:
This thing is absurdly huge, but it was fun to use. We started out with Alan laying on his back while we played with the settings to be sure he was comfortable, and I was shocked to see this toy literally turn his dick into a vibrator. No kidding, the movement was visible! Cowgirl style was the first order of the day, then I found that the constant vibration felt best (level 1).

It wasn't enough to get me off, because the vibes were spread out too evenly over the clitoral area, and Alan wasn't able to go as deep as we usually do, but it was enough to take me to the edge where just a little finger nudging finished it. I also appreciated the fact that there wasn't any need to be careful, because the toy is spongy enough that it didn't hurt either one of us no matter how I moved.

Doggie style did absolutely nothing for me, because the toy just felt like it was in the way and didn't hit any sweet spots. Missionary style was much the same; I could feel the vibrations around the anal area, but not enough to do much and the front piece hit above clit area so didn't do anything for me. So basically, this is another cowgirl-style toy for me, and it's very enjoyable in that position.

The one thing I hate though is the smell of the ring. It's not a bad smell, but it's strong enough that I got a case of the creeps wondering what was in it. I had to keep reminding myself that Topco says it's latex free and body safe materials.

Alan says:
Woo hoo a shock absorber for my cock! Sorry... I couldn't help it, that's the first thing I thought when I saw this toy; I wasn't too excited about trying it out. I'm glad I did though. It put strong vibrations in a wide path from my ass to lower belly that felt great, and I didn't notice any difference in how good the vibrations felt when we changed positions. Deep penetration was absolutely impossible with this ring on though, so it's a good thing it felt as nice as it did.

Initially I had my doubts about how something that bulky would stay in place, but it fit tight enough that it never slipped around even when I stood up to change positions. The only problem was, I had to take it off to be able to come, but I've had that issue with cock rings before. On the downside, I'm not happy with the sticky feel of the material at all. Lube does make it better, but it's just something I freaking loathe in sex toys.
Follow-up commentary
We enjoyed this toy while it lasted, but unfortunately the sticky feeling that we mentioned the material having evolved into a downright greasy feeling after a few months. Greasy enough to be gross and make us seriously doubt the intelligence of continuing to use the ring, so we threw it away.

We did keep the controller/vibrators unit and still consider it useful during foreplay, but if you're shopping for a cock ring then your money might be better spent on something else.

Be careful how you store this, I've had a similar one sort of melt onto the PVC lining of the bag, and transfer dye to other objects.

I'm glad you liked these better than many have. Good review!

Eww, that's not good. How would you suggest storing it? We've got it in a Ziploc in the drawer now, but I certainly don't want it going gooey on us!

It seems like this controller is a great idea but most of the toys fall short. I hadn't realize this cock ring is GIGANTIC. Wow!
  • Contributor: Alan & Michele
Yeah the controller is a real winner. I wish the bullets were sized to fit in other toys too, but they're too fat for that.
