Sometimes the old saying is true: you get what you pay for. The PowerGrip Pump can be bought at a very affordable price. However, it suffers from one major flaw; an incomplete vacuum seal. I had read other reviews which had complained about the same flaw.

I wanted to test the product for myself to see if it was simply a random error in construction and not indicative of the entire line of PowerGrip Pumps. Unfortunately, I found that the other reviews and complaints were the rule, not the exception, as I had hoped. There is a constant, slow leak of air when using this pump that forces the user to constantly work the hand-held pump to maintain the vacuum pressure. After about 5 minutes, this constant pumping becomes rather tedious. Using the pump for the recommended 30 minutes per session is truly a test of patience. That being said, an adequate vacuum can be achieved using the PowerGrip Pump for the product to work successfully. Unfortunately, it requires more work than it is worth.

Overall, there is only one other complaint from the point of view of the user of this product, and that is the lack of alternate rubber sleeves to fit the user's individual dimensions. The pump only comes with one sleeve at about 1.25 inches in diameter. If this size does not fit you well, then you may experience some discomfort when using the pump. By discomfort, I mean the pump may pinch or squeeze delicate areas you don't want to be sucked up into the tube. I recommend double checking your size before purchasing this product.

The rest of the device was perfectly fine though. The handle was comfortable and the overall size of the cylinder (9 inches by 2.5 inches) was more than large enough to accommodate the average male user. As for its performance, I am able to achieve very robust erections with a temporary gain in girth using the PowerGrip Pump. These erections are further held by using the prolonging ring included in the package. Although not uncomfortable, I tended to use leather performance rings after using the pump because of their aesthetics. However, I have not used the pump long enough to determine if there are any permanent gains in size or performance that the pump may produce.

At first, I was rather disappointed with the lack of a good seal on the PowerGrip Pump. However, when I needed to use it to quickly rebound after a quickie, it did work reasonably well. It only took about five minutes to achieve a good erection after having just climaxed. It's not a very sexy product to have in the bedroom, unlike handcuffs or a blindfold, but it has become something that we regularly use.

The constant pumping is still rather annoying. As a result, I find myself cutting pumping sessions short that I would otherwise continue to find any long-term gains in size or performance. If I am one of those lucky few who do see long-term benefits, I won't see it with the PowerGrip Pump.
