The clear plastic jelly was smooth to the touch and very elastic, and free of any odors. It's also free of phthalates, and its durable material is both waterproof and lubricant friendly. Both water and silicone based lubricants can be used with the double rock ring, though you must take care when cleaning it, as boiling water and strong soaps can damage the material.
