Dr. Rachel Carlton Adams is a family physician that specializes in women's health. She co-authored The Multi-Orgasmic Couple with her husband who had previously written "The Multi-Orgasmic Man" with Mantak Chia.

Master Mantak Chia began studying Taoists principles as a child. He is the founder of Universal Tao Healing Center. Chia is a teacher, author, and self-described healer.

This book targets an audience that is interested in expanding orgasmic experiences through a combination of mind & body exercises. Therefore, the Taoist principles will be discussed in depth at first then the biology of the principles will be discussed. I thought the Tao writings were definitely overwhelming for most people not familiar with the practices.

The book is written with everyone in mind, lesbians, post-menopausal women, the experienced, and the novice.

This book is a paperback edition consisting of 304 pages. The cover has a picture of a woman smiling while enticing biting one corner, of her lip.

The book offers several excellent appendixes, such as 'Common Illnesses and Medications that May Affect Sexual Pleasure', resources for sexual health, and lists of exercises noted in book.

A brief peruse of the book, highlighted chapters titles 'The Gift of Orgasms', 'Whole Body Orgasms', 'Cultivating Sexual Health', and many more. The first chapter, 'Your Own Sexual Fingerprint', identifies this through a series of multiple choice quiz. The goal is to make the reader more aware of strengths and weaknesses involving sexuality.

The book includes several drawn illustrations, including anatomical. The exercises are reiterated in easy to reference format after discussion. The exercises are also illustrated, as is several Tao principles, which was a little harder to grasp through drawing.

The book is a great resources for women's health issues. Breast health, female ejaculation, ovarian power, birth control, and safer sex are several issues discussed.

The breathing exercises were first implemented in sexual play. My lover stated that he noticed a difference in quality & quantity of orgasms.

I found the reading became bogged down with Tao talk. I much preferred the biological discussions that could provide immediate results.

The authors recommended a break from "electrical stimulation" to aide the mental process of combining sexuality and the mind. I found it impossible to leave my toys alone. Personally, my toys help me reach those great levels of orgasms that shake & quake a woman to her core.
