Bella Notte!

I really like this dry shampoo. I think, for what it does, it's a very good product. It gives your hair a light, floral scent while reducing shine from oil. It'll probably only save you from washing your hair for one day, but sometimes all you need is one more day.

Use

This product is a dry shampoo, which is meant for use in your hair. It works best for darker-haired people, as this particular version is tinted brown so it won't show up as much in brunettes' hair as the version for blondes would. Notte Breeze is great for when you need to soak up just a little bit of extra oil or perspiration in your hair — notably during the summer months, or after a workout. If you're sensitive to smells, this is scented, and it's also a powder shampoo — so you might end up sneezing a bit.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This is a powdered dry shampoo — think like baby powder. However, it's tinted brown to be less visible in brown hair (when compared to a white dry shampoo.) It's very fine, very smooth — not gritty at all. I've had a lot of problems with accidentally using too much — it comes out of the bottle pretty quickly. If you use too much, it can make your hair feel a little weird — it can make the roots stick together where there's a lot of oil. You can't comb it out either — your hair will just be a little clumpy where you applied too much.

Taste / Aroma

I really like Principessa Beauty's "Isolina" scent — which is the scent of this. It's a little powdery and floral, but not sickly sweet. The aroma is most noticeable when you first apply it but it fades by the end of the day. You won't be disturbing others around you when you wear this. But I still notice the scent if I run my hand through my hair at the end of the day and sniff my palm — it stays in the hair fairly well (good to know if someone gives you a hug and catches a whiff of your hair.)

Performance

For me, one application of this is enough to last an entire day. I have dark, shoulder length hair that is extremely curly. So applying this is a bit tricky for me because it doesn't just fall down the hair shaft nicely like it would on someone who has straight/wavy hair. I have to make sure to brush/comb it through really well. What I really like about it is the tint — nobody can tell I used a dry shampoo when I use Notte Breeze. My least favorite thing about this is applying it; the bottle has pretty big holes in the top, and if you accidentally sprinkle too much, it'll make your hair take on an odd texture — a bit gritty. The best way I've found to apply this is to put some in my hand and gently sprinkle it where I need it to be so that way I don't accidentally have a ton come out of the bottle. For me, it only extends the need to wash my hair by a day — which is good as I'm a college student and I don't always care about washing my hair as much as I care about finishing my homework.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Needs to be washed off with soap and water
    • Gets sticky

Packaging

This comes in a cute little pink metal bottle — aluminum, I think. The cap is removed by pulling it off, which can be difficult because you have to remove the lid carefully or risk spilling the dry shampoo everywhere. There are a few instructions on the back of the bottle - "Sprinkle into your hair to absorb excess oils, product and create gorgeous body and volume! It magically blends roots and can extend blowouts, too!" My recommendation is after you sprinkle it through, comb/brush it in to get it really worked down to your scalp and roots.
    • Easy to use / dispense
