Black microfiber g-string - sexy panty discontinued by Baci - review by Squidget

My boyfriend picked out Baci's Black Microfiber G-String. I don't think I would have purchased it, but it was his money, so I wasn't about to complain over free panties. They're pretty inexpensive, so I figured, why not?

The g-string arrived in a paperboard envelope/sleeve that featured the nipple-tassled model rocking the g-string. It shows off the front and back of the g-string on both sides and the website at the bottom. It was a bit annoying to open, but not difficult in the least. Inside the paperboard envelope was a plastic sleeve containing the folded-up g-string and a slip of paper thanking the consumer in about a gazillion different languages.





The g-string was as featured: black with pink bows that sit either side of your crotch where the triangular fabric joins the sides(although the real-life bows were a little awkward-looking), and pink lining. The tag lists the fabric as being made of 90% polyester and 10% spandex, so they are quite stretchy and accommodating. The fabric is smooth and a bit shiny. The g-string didn't dig into my skin, and I ordered a Small. I am about size 4/5. The care instructions seem typical of most lingerie I own: Wash warm with colors seperately, use non-chlorine bleach when necessary, tumble dry low, do not iron, and finally, do not dry clean this g-string. They don't seem like they'd be much of a hassle to wash at all.

Once I finished studying the tag, I excitedly stripped down to try on the g-string and see how I looked. It was a bit disappointing. Even before being stretched out, the "ruffle" sides were a bit flat, and this was made worse when I put them on. They simply lay flat against my skin, making the g-string look awkwardly geometric and not at all like the cute ruffles featured on the model. The fabric also folds stubbornly upward right above my crack, which is, of course, where my partner's eyes will be. Sigh. They also seem to sit a bit low above my crotch, which is a little uncomfortable for me, but not a big deal.

One could easily wear this g-string under clothing, alone in the bedroom, as part of a costume, etc. All in all, it's really just a normal g-string, that's kind of cute but doesn't fit quite like it's supposed to. I'll wear them, surely, I just wish that they looked like the picture and not a band around my hips with a triangle between my legs.

This g-string has been buried in the back of my drawer. I really only wear it when there's nothing else I can wear. It's not terrible, but I still feel a bit awkward wearing it, and it still looks nothing like the picture.
