Red lace panty and bra set - bra and panty set discontinued by Espiral - review by mistressg

When I ordered this, I was really more interested in the bra than the panty. I tend to go for cotton panties, and this set is Nylon/Spandex. Still, I thought it would be cute if both pieces fit comfortably, then I would likely wear them together. I don't really have any matching bras and panties, and I figure it would be nice to have. I really wanted a nice basic bra like this to wear around the house, or to bed, or maybe even under a shirt that is too low cut. I thought it looked comfortable, but that it had that little something extra to add some sex appeal, so that I could still feel sexy in a comfortable bra. Under my clothing, I wear push-up bras exclusively. I like the support of an underwire and the little bit of padding to keep everything pushed up and rounded, it is just what I feel best in. I wasn't too worried about actual support with this bra, as it is just lace, and has no padding or underwire.

This set is only available in S-XL. The sizing does not go according to cup size. I wear a large in most anything, and according to the Espiral size chart, this size large set should fit a 38" bust, 29" waist, and 38" hip. These are about my measurements, as I am a 38C or D depending on the bra, 30" waist, and 38" hips. I
was not familiar with this brand, so I hoped it would be true to size and fit me comfortably.

I don't like the care tag, it's all images, no word. I gather that it is hand-wash only.

When I first took the bra out and laid it out flat, I was a little worried that it looked a lot like a training bra. Thankfully, once I tried it on, my feelings changed.



Initially, to the touch, I thought it could be softer. This is not rough or super stiff, but it isn't as flowy or silky as some other lace lingerie items. It doesn't just slide around in your hand, it has just the littlest bit of stiffness to it, but nothing bothersome. Actually, that quality make it feel sturdier than any other lace lingerie that I own, which I really like about it. Plus, I feel like this could get even softer with washing.

The bra straps are not adjustable, though they have some stretch to them that will allow them fit most people. There are no hook and eye clasps on the back, or any other sort of closure. It is one continuous panel of lace, pretty much. There is a seam down each side, under the armpits. It is not really noticeable, or poorly stitched, and it does not visually take away from the bra. Even though this has no clasps or strap adjusters, I am confident that this will still fit any buyer quite comfortably and true to size. This fits my 38 bust, but would probably comfortably fit a 32-44 or so. This set will cover a good range of body shapes, while remaining true to size. I think it is really versatile and great.

I pulled the underwear on first and was surprised by how comfortable they are. They feel nice to wear; I wasn't expecting much from them, but I actually like them. The panties are a typical boyshort style (which is my favorite), and they are not at all low-rise. They feel more covering than other boyshorts that I have. They are very true to a size large, they are not tight anywhere, they are not baggy or loose anywhere either. They don't make me feel uncomfortable or sweaty either, even though they are not cotton. This is surprisingly breathable.

This wasn't a very size-specific set, so I was worried it might fit strangely. It fits true to size, even though it has no cups or cup size specifications. This fits my 38 C/D very well. In fact, this would probably fit anywhere from an A cup to DD pretty well! That is something that I really like about this, as it is rare to find lingerie that does not go according to cup size that fits well. This will fit most busts pretty comfortably.

This could be worn anywhere, under clothing, during intercourse (if you just slide the panties over a bit), and during masturbation. Great anywhere, any time, and obviously travel friendly.

I'm not a huge fan of paisley, but I do like lace. I was worried the pattern of the lace might look a bit..retro, and odd. Turns out, it looks great. The texture of the lace is not itchy or bothersome. I have sensitive skin, and I find that that can be a problem with lace items. Not with this one! The lace does not feel dry or itchy against my nipples either, which is another plus. I've been wearing this set since I took it out of the box, and I'll probably keep it on all day. I think I just found a new favorite! I'll probably order this in one of the other colors as well, but I think the red will stay my favorite. The color of this set is very vibrant and pretty. This is the first totally red thing to be in my lingerie collection, but I think it's nice. The color is attention getting, and you won't mind getting attention with how this looks.



One thing is that I doubt I will be able to wear it as a slight cover-up under a low cut shirt. I tried it on with my bra under it, and I'm doubting it would cover much. That doesn't really matter that much though, because this still looks great. Totally worth it!

I still love this set. I've since ordered it in lavender, I like that one as well, and I'd like to get the nude set too when I can. It's so cozy, and it looks really nice. The fit of them seems to be the same across the board, there is no difference in size between the different colors that are available. I would definitely recommend this. It's not that expensive, and it can be worn to bed, or worn under clothing.
