Polka dot baby doll - babydoll and panties set by Escante - review by eeep

This babydoll came in a plastic bag, hung on a plastic hanger, and had a tag attached to it with a photo of a model wearing it. The top and the panties do not look exactly as they are pictured on the model. I hate when this happens, but it was not exactly a negative in this instance. The polka dotted body of it looks like it is almost opaque in the picture, but it is in fact a sheer mesh material. There are 7 white polka dotted parts along the body of the top, which are rectangles of material that drape down from seams that they are sewn onto.

The panties in the picture look to be opaque polka dotted material, with sheer lace sides. In reality they were made entirely of sheer polka dotted material. They are full bottom panties and do have a sewn-in pantyliner though, which is a huge plus.

The cups of the babydoll are not see through and are covered with lace. They are also lightly padded, and the top does have adjustable straps. The bow is made of a bright pink ribbon, and is secured in the middle of the cups. It does run only the length of the cups, and does not go around the back of the top. The bow is sewn on well at the sides of the cups and in the center, but hangs loose under the cups so that it adjusts to sit right on your figure.

I normally wear a 1x, but got this in size 2x in the hope that it would fit my breasts better.

I measured to check this and got: 40 in. bust (around the largest portion of the cups and back), 42 in. waist (but extremely stretchy), and 14 in. in length from below the cup to the bottom of the babydoll. I would estimate the cup size to be B-C cup, but a smaller D could possibly squeeze in.

My measurements are 40 in. waist, 49 in. hip, and I wear a 36 DD bra (DDD in some bras). It fit nice in the waist, was a bit loose around the chest, but WAY too small in the cups. I had a friend try it who wears the same size, but is a B cup and it fit her perfectly. The panties are 34 in. around the hip when completely loose, but are very stretchy so could stretch to fit up into the mid 50 in. range with ease. I have a 49 in. hip, and it did not feel tight at all, almost felt a bit loose in the hip.

When wearing this piece, the white polka dotted portions do sit similar to how they appear on the model, and work to mask any bumps in your figure. The material was not itchy at all, and was in fact very stretchy and comfortable. If it fit me right, it would be comfortable enough for me to sleep in. Be careful though, because this material probably wouldn't hold up well to rough play.

I was really looking forward to receiving this babydoll in the mail, but was disappointed when I received it. It looked opaque, so I had thought I could wear it as a tank top during the summer, but it was sheer instead. I also ordered up a size hoping to better fit my DDs, but found even that barely covered half of them. Despite these flaws, I didn't rank it lower than a 4, because it is well made and had several things that were great about it. The stomach portion is really flattering on my figure, and I am a curvy woman. The white and black polka dotted portions worked together to mask my mommy stomach bump entirely, which I would not have thought possible for a sheer material. The mesh is stretchy, so it also was comfortable and fit around all my curves, and did not bunch up at all. I truly wish it fit my cup size, because it fits me perfectly everywhere else. Even the panties are very comfortable and make my larger behind look great.

I did have a good friend try this piece as well (and I am probably giving her the babydoll for a present), and while she wears the same size as me, she is shaped very differently. Where I am short, very curvy, large breasted, and have a large booty, she is very tall, has a B-cup, and is broad figured, but not very curvy. This fit her amazingly! The cups fit perfectly, it was comfortable, and it made her figure look more like an hourglass (which she loved).

I still like it, but also still can't wear it due to the cups being too small. My friend has worn it a bunch and it has held up well and looks great on her (her boyfriend loves it too).
