I love things that pop with color, and if I can do something different with my lingerie, I love to take that opportunity. Unfortunately, the color is about the only good thing about this set.

This set comes in a one size, and to DreamGirl, that means that you're between a size 2-14, with a B-C cup, 32-38" bust, 24-32" waist, and 34-40" hips. I'm 5'2", weigh about 105, around my bust measures 31" and underneath measures about 28 1/2". I've got about a 25" waist with 33" hips and I wear a B cup. This set doesn't fit the smaller end of the rage as well as it could. At least the top portion anyway. There's really nothing in the way of breast support, so if you need that, you should wear this with a bra.

It comes in DreamGirl's box, which looks astonishingly similar to Coquette's box. The side opens up, and if you're careful, you won't rip the box in the process. But since you probably won't be storing this set back in the box, it's not a big deal either way. The front has a picture of the model wearing it, and the back has the same picture but from the back. There's a small description about the contents, the sizing (90-140 pounds, 40-70 kg), and washing instructions: hand wash separately in cold water, don't bleach, line dry. I'd feel comfortable washing it on cold and low in the washer then drip drying. There's also tags on the top, the thong, and one of the two gloves. Everything is 100% polyester, and you can store these wherever you store the rest of your delicates.

The set comes with the babydoll top, a crotchless thong, and a pair of fingerless gloves. All of the pieces are the same bright red see through mesh with the red frilly lace trim. The top goes on like a front clasp bra would, only instead of a clip, there's a 13" red ribbon on each side to tie it together. There's a cup section for the breasts on each side, although there's not really a band underneath the cup to give any support, so when wearing it, it almost feels like all the 'support' is being felt on the top, and nothing is being pulled up in any manner. C cups and bigger might fare better with this however. There are adjustable straps, just like a bra would have. But even lengthened all the way, they still dug into my shoulders. From tie to tie underneath the cups measures about 28" laid flat, but does stretch, and since the ties are over a foot long, you've got some wiggle room on the sizes. From the back down to the hem is abut 16 1/2", and on most people should fall to about the hips. The lace trim runs from the top of one cup, down the front, across the back, and back up the other side.

The crotchless thong is designed better than some I've seen. It's not a T back, instead having an inch wide chunk of fabric that goes down about 4 1/2". Each of the lip flaps is about 8" long, and actually lays pretty comfortably. They're wide enough that you could cover the lips if you wanted to, but the fabric is thin enough that you can push them off to the sides and still be relatively comfortable. That lace trim makes another appearance across the top of the thong too. The waistband is fairly stretchy, although this piece isn't going to fit the larger end of the guidelines, only coming out to abut 17" stretched when laid flat.

And the gloves. Well, they're nice in theory. The portion for the thumb isn't long enough to allow anyone to wear these comfortably really, but the other finger holes line up pretty nicely. Because the thumb hole is cut so awkwardly, it pulls and makes the glove feel uncomfortably tight on the thumb side. The bottom wrist portion is very open and stretchy, leaving a gap around smaller wrists. There's a piece of ribbon about 24" long on each glove that lets you tie the two together in an attempt to restrain your partner. If you can get the ribbons to tie together and stay (not magically untie themselves with any tugging), the bottom wrist hole stretches out and it all feels like it's going to rip. In the defense of the gloves however, they didn't. I still wouldn't recommend trying anything more than light bondage play with them.

The material that makes up the majority of each piece is pretty soft and feels nice on the skin. The lace trim however, pretty scratchy.

I was really disappointed with this set. I love bright red lingerie, but it's harder to find than say, black. I've tried wearing this set a few times, and I just can't do it. The gloves are too uncomfortable for me to wear long enough to even think about letting him tie them together to restrain me, although even if I did, my hands would just slip right out the wide wrist hole. The top did lay similar on me to the model, but I had a hard time tying everything tightly and the straps just dug into my shoulders. I'm not sure I've managed to wear the top more than a few minutes at a time so far, at least on it's own. It doesn't look too bad over a black tank top though. The thong was the best part of the set, at least in my opinion. It fit me well, and was pretty comfortable, at least for the 10 minutes or so I wore it. Since there's obviously no place to put a crotch liner I didn't feel comfortable wearing it long term.

To me, the only redeeming things about this set are the color, the thong being relatively comfortable, and the top looking ok as an accessory. It's a solid 2 1/2 star set, but since everything's held together so far, even with me tugging and pulling, I'll bump it up to 3.

I may still have this floating around somewhere. If I do? It's going into the pile of stuff I'm going to disassemble and turn into a quilt.
