Rhinestone detail padded bra - bra and panty set discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Midway through

This review took longer to write than I'd hoped, but the bright side of that turned out to be that I gave this piece a good solid amount of time to show me what it was worth. And I will say that this one has held up, despite being machine washed and rustled about. I was definitely not delicate with it, as I have no had any time to be. The bra has held up wonderfully! The support in it hasn't taken any damage despite being machine washed (though I don't recommend that) and the material is still intact with no tears or rips. This outfit was definitely worth it! The bra is padded and has a wire... that's something I usually like to note because that's things that will make or break the deal for some girls.

What you get

The set comes with a bra with rhinestone detailing and ruffles, a skirt with ruffles and rhinestone detailing, and a plain pink g-string. It's the typical g-string that comes with most lingerie as the "free thong". It's not overly fancy and there's no rhinestone detailing to make it match the set. I don't care for it anymore than I do the other g-strings that come with lingerie sets.

Material and Stitching

This outfit is made of a combination of nylon, spandex, and polyester. The material has held up well, as I noted above. I only have a few complaints about it. First and foremost, the straps on this bra are not thick and as such don't provide extremely comfortable support for your breast. I don't usually intend on wearing this all day long though so I don't really have much complaint about short term wear for the bedroom. The ruffles and rhinestones are well stitched and glued so even after being sent through a rough wash in the machine they stayed on without issue. There are no frays in the stitching, and the seam looks like it will hold for a while. The bra does have a wire that appears to be well sewn in. I mention this because previous outfits from EF's lingerie section haven't held well, and eventually the wire comes out somehow. This one hasn't had that issue. The fabric of this outfit is very comfortable, and while in the pictures, the ruffles look like they might be made of scratchy material... they're actually comfortable. The dark pink areas have a satin feel to them.

Care and Maintenance

I have washed this in the machine, but I don't recommend that. I recommend hand washing this outfit to make it last longer. And of course never send this through the machine to dry. The combination of material this outfit is made from can either fry or just be destroyed in general. To keep this outfit in the best condition you will want to hand wash and hang to dry.

Sizing and Fit

I got this outfit in large. The sizing charts for this company show that to fit accordingly:

Large
Size: 14 - 16
Bust: 39 - 41
Waist: 30.5 - 32.5
Hip: 42.5 - 44.5

That being said, my measurements are

Bust: 43
Waist: 37.5
Hips: 45.7

This fit me well and it is not designed for my size. I technically still fall in the 15/16 size category under most companies. Even being a little over the sizing for this, it did fit. I wouldn't go any larger though because it will become a tight fit and will start to cause chubby over-hang. I would've liked better straps on the bra to support the bust better, because I think it does lack a little love for bigger chested girls there. But even with this flaw, the set is very flattering. The skirt has frills in the right places and it definitely can make any butt look good, even a flat one. I have a bubble butt and it really makes my butt look amazing.

There is only one major design flaw with this outfit. The large size outfit should have assumed to be ordered by larger girls and thus would need more bust support. I feel like they should've made thicker bra straps so that it doesn't dig into your shoulders. But this can be looked over because the reality is that this won't be worn long enough to cause major problems. It's a very flattering set and the rhinestones are a very cute touch. I would recommend it to go in the arsenal for any girl. This is a lot of fun to have sex in though. The g-string can be removed and the skirt can be flipped up during sex. That's something I look for in most of my lingerie as my boyfriend is very into having sex with the skirt on.
