Fluttering fantasy prism - clitoral vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Gabe

The Fluttering Fantasy Prism can be used for either clitoral or g-spot/p-spot stimulation. The soft exterior means that it had give when I slid it in, while the firm core gave it a feeling of heft. Even so, it's light and easy on the wrist, a welcome change from heavier vibrators.

This toy is covered with TPR silicone, a form of silicone that's soft to the touch and pliable. The shaft is ridged with lines arranged in waves. The ridges are pronounced enough to feel as I slid the prism in and out of my front hole. It doesn't have any scent or taste, and the texture will work well for beginners or advanced toy users.

This toy is of relatively mild girth at the head and more moderate girth in the shaft. This means that it'll be good for beginners and even intermediate toy users but isn't likely to satisfy the size queens and kings out there. The head of this toy is angled so it can penetrate and hit the g-spot, and all the vibration are centered in the tip.

The ridges and narrowed head mean that this toy offers simultaneous stimulation of the g-spot overall sensation.

The Fluttering Fantasy Prism has three levels of vibration, ranging from mild to somewhat stronger. It's not highly intense vibration though, in any case, and probably won't satisfy those folks looking for intense movement. On the other hand, the vibration is relatively quiet, and transmits well through water.

A pet peeve: You can't turn this vibrator off except by running through the remaining vibration options. I wish there were some way to turn it off immediately.

You can wash this with toy cleaner or soap and water. Although it's water-proof, you probably don't want to boil it because of the metal parts inside.

Because the toy is made of TPR silicone, you'll probably want to use condoms on this toy if you're using it with silicone lube (silicone lube and TPR don't play well together).

The packaging was simple, using clear plastic. Unfortunately, the Fluttering Fantasy Prism comes without instructions. Other than an arrow pointing to the button, there was no indication where or how to put the batteries in. I eventually discovered that the base actually twists off, opening to a two triple-A-battery compartment. Challenge #2 came when it became clear there was no indication how to put in the batteries. Not a big deal, except that it was a hassle to open and close the base, so each time I tried a new combination, I had to figure out how to exactly align the springs and screws and doodads just so, only to realize that it still didn’t turn on. Nonetheless, you can benefit from my struggles: as you look at the vibe, with the tip pointing up and towards your crotch as if it were penetrating you, the battery on the left should have the negative side pointing up, the battery on the right should have the positive side pointing up. Pop ‘em in, hit the button, and finally, we’ve got liftoff!
