The Flame can be used by women and couples as a clitoral and G-spot stimulator. You can also do some light teasing with the vibrating part of this vibrator. Due to the lack of a base, I would not recommend this as an anal stimulator!

This toy is a bit large so it could be intimidating for beginners, however it can be used by anyone who can accept a larger item, likes a lot of drag and needs softer stimulation. There is also quite a bit of texture, which looks intimidating as well, but the material is so soft and flexible that you do not notice it very much during use.

The Flame is made of Elastomer. This rates a 7 for safety, is semi-porous and is not recommended for sharing unless a condom is used. This vibrator material is very soft, almost jelly feeling and has a significant amount of drag. Water based or silicone lube is definitely recommended to prevent grabbing or tearing when using vaginally. This has happened to me with a couple of other toys that had this texture and softness. You cannot use too much lube! I do use only water based lube with this product for easier cleaning.

There is a very light plastic/rubber aroma to the Flame but it diminishes upon airing out for an hour and washing prior to use. This is a serious lint magnet so you might want to keep a damp cloth nearby while using this product. I did not taste this vibrator due to its texture and light aroma. I honestly do not want it in my mouth.

It reminds me of a purple pineapple top with an alien coming out of the tip. He has three small antennae coming out of the top of his head, two eyes and small arms. The bottom two balls are covered with what looks like the outside of a pineapple. The base reminds me of a cheap, soft ice cream cone. And it is all completely see through and purple.

The insertable area is 4" long, 1 3/4" diameter.The base is 2 3/4" long and about 1 1/2" diameter. It actually is larger than I thought it would be. It is about an inch longer than the cardboard center of a toilet paper roll and about as thick.

This is not discrete!! You could hide it in a paper towel center and fold the ends down to size, though. If someone saw this, they would know it is a funky vibrator.

The tip of the Flame is a bullet vibrator that has high, light but very rapid vibrations. These are adjustable by the sliding switch located on the left side of the base front. The vibrator sounds like a mosquito buzzing around your head. It can only be heard about four feet away, less if you are under the covers. Squeezing of the vaginal walls or moderate pressure can stop the vibrations.

The rotating shaft is controlled by the sliding switch on the right side of the base front. This controls the speed of rotation and is louder than the vibrations. Clenching of the vaginal muscles can stop the rotation and the handle will rotate outside the vagina. It can be heard by someone in the same room. If you are worried about the noise, some music or background noise is recommended.

The battery compartment is accessed by sliding the back plate off the base. It takes 4 AA batteries, and if you use both motors sparingly, they can last for awhile. I have had my batteries in for about four hours between changes. My battery access door has a problem staying on, it wants to come off during use. I did use clear packing tape to secure it while in use.

Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse well and air dry. Do NOT get the base wet, it is not waterproof! Wipe this with a damp cloth or toy wipe. I always go back over my toys with a toy cleaner for added safety. I do use a baby's toothbrush to clean the cracks, crevasses and dips on the Flame, otherwise there may be trapped residues after cleaning. Just brush very gently and do not use any pressure.

If the material gets too sticky, rub a minute amount of cornstarch on the surface with your palm, wipe with a dry cloth and store or continue using. Only do this when fully dry!! I like to do this prior to storing. I keep this in a plastic zip lock bag. Do not store this material with other compounds, it is very soft, might 'melt' and there are discoloration issues with this material. Keep in a cooler area, about 50-60 degrees farenheit.
