Chocolates vibrator by Doc Johnson

My qualifications for a toy are pretty simple. If a toy gets me off and works well, I’m sold. Bonus points of it’s pretty, but I’m not particularly picky. Unfortunately, though the Chocolates vibrator did get me off, and actually also worked well, I still can’t recommend it. Which is a pity.

See, when I cleaned the toy before I used it, the paint started coming off. The toy came with a shiny, gold-ish paint on top of a brown vibe, and after I cleaned it, the shiny gold was half off. Which made me more than a little uncomfortable, I have to say. I mean, I don’t generally like putting things inside me that appear to be less than clean, and I don’t really think a toy can be considered clean if it’s shedding paint everywhere!

I still wanted to try it, so I put a condom on the toy and went to town. And here’s the thing - it was actually awesome. It worked really nicely, I got off quickly, and it was overall a good experience, except for the condom in the way of my clit. Which was not the most pleasant place for a slippery piece of latex. I mean, I don’t mind condoms on my toys if they’re necessary, but I don’t particularly like the use of one on a clit vibe, which is what I was using this for. Regardless, like I said, I got off pretty quickly, and enjoyed myself. Which is a plus.

Then, of course, I went to clean the toy again. And more of the paint came off! At this point, the toy was more brown than shiny. Out of curiosity, when the toy was clean I gave it a mock hand job - and guess what happened? Gold flakes all over my hands, and a toy that was even more brown than prior.

The thing is, I want to recommend this toy. I really do. But unless you don’t mind using it internally with a condom (it wasn’t quite thick enough for me), or you don’t have any objections to condoms on your clit vibes, I just can’t recommend it. Which is, again, a pity, because besides the paint, which is an obvious factor of the cheapness of the manufacturing of this toy, it did a great job. I just couldn’t get over how uncomfortable it made me that there was a possibility of paint coming off inside me, even if it was certified non-toxic paint.

I give it 1 out of 5, and 2 out of 5 if you don’t have any objections to using it with a condom.
