Devinn Lane's vibrator by California Exotic

Devinn Lane’s Vibrator is one of the prettiest vibes I own. The Crystalessence material gives it an almost jewel-like quality that, combined with its unusual shape and texture, makes it very pleasing on the eyes. Fortunately, the vibe performs beyond the visual and is a quite effective toy for vaginal and clitoral play.

The real stand-out feature of this vibe is the texturing and shape. It is rather extremely tapered, from very thin to quite wide near its base. This tapering allows for easy insertion and a customized experience, since you can decide just how full you want to feel. It is also quite extremely textured, with a variety of different textures covering the length of the shaft. What I find pleasing about the texturing is that, in contrast to many toys, it is both pronounced and subtle. By pronounced, I mean that it covers nearly every surface of the shaft, and changes texture in several spots; by subtle, I mean that it IS in fact just surface texturing, with no nubs, ticklers, tendrils, or spikes protruding from it. This makes it an ideal toy for woman who wants some texture and variety, but might be sensitive to some of the more pronounced protrusions found on other toys. I had NO discomfort at all with Devinn Lane’s Vibrator, due to its narrowly tapered head and lack of extreme protrusions.

The motor in this vibrator is located approximately halfway down the shaft, just before the shaft hits its widest point. This positions it ideally to stimulate the vaginal opening during penetration. The bullet is powerful enough to conduct strong vibrations the entire length of the shaft on its highest settings, but is not terribly noisy except at its highest power. Combined with the slim, tapered head, this powerful distribution of vibration also makes this vibe very effective for pinpointed clitoral stimulation. The vibe is controlled by a simple dial at the base of the vibrator, and is waterproof as an added feature.

I would recommend Devinn Lane’s Vibrator to any woman who is looking for texture without potential pain and ease of insertion. It is a reasonably-priced twist on the traditional vibe.

Ok, I goofed on this one--I should have given this vibe 3 stars instead of 4. It's held up well to years of use, and is definitely very well-designed for a traditional vibrator, more interesting than your standard vibe. But it IS a traditional vibrator, and jelly at that (though the Crystalessense material does still look prettier than most standard jellies). I love the tapered and textured design, which add a lot of interest, but it is still not quite a world-class vibe. My bad! :( Still worth checking out for the price, though, if you're a fan of penetrating vibes.
