The Clitapatra is a fantastic beginner toy. The dials allow you to adjust speed and rotation for the appropriate levels of stimulation. The three tongues are fabulous on the clit with lots of flickering. I definitely recommend this toy. The few cons are far outweighed by the fabulous results.Published: September 5, 2008

This is an unbelievable toy! I can't put it away. The dual action is purr-fect. The design is fun with the Egyptian theme and it is very effective. The shaft of the vibrator is like a sarcophagus, the tip is the pharaohs head. There is a lot of detail on the shaft that is fun and provides some texture. The tip of the shaft has a realistic feel. The back portion of the shaft is particularly realistic with veins that enhance sensation.
The clitoral stimulator is a unique design of a lion with three tongues. The three tongues of the lion are amazing on the clit. It is the most stimulation I have experienced with a toy. The light flickering of the multiple tongues provide a constant stimulation that drives your clit crazy. The sound is a little loud when it is at full power but you won't care about sound when it is at max power. The battery cover has a few issues with staying closed on the model I have but I would attribute that to the power and excitement. The dual motors are adjusted by individual dials. Each dial allows you to individually control the speed/rotation and facilitates an amazing build-up. There is a button that allows you to reverse the rotation of the shaft.
Just when you think the stimulation can't get better, hit the reverse rotation button and it takes you to another level. Top speed is like a fevered pitch. While the design is fun, it makes cleaning a little challenging. There are lots of nooks and crannies that allow for fun detail but facilitate things that you need to clean; nothing that a toy cleaner or soap can't handle. The best part is the toy is so effective, there is plenty of clean-up necessary. After trying several different toys, this one was worth the search.

I wish toy makers paid a little more attention to the battery compartments. It's a little "hood" to have tape on your vibe battery cover....like the remote battery cover. Thanks for the review

The vibe has a dial to adjust the speeds so there isn't a set number. It is just an easy or quick transition from slow to fast. I would say the top speed is equivalent to other vibes of this size. You just get to control the transition with the dial instead of having a slow-med-fast button. I think the dial really enhances the pleasure.
I am not surprised that cleaning is rather involved with this toy. My first thoughts when I saw it was "how creepy" and "that must be a pain to clean." Glad it works so well for you though, and at least the design is pretty unique. Nice review, and welcome to the site :)
Ok, I find it kind of creepy too but, this toy could lend itself well to an egyptian themed halloween costume! =) Did you feel anything from all of the sarcophagus details?
That does look hard to clean- especially because it's jelly, which will absorb any fluid it comes into contact with. You could always cover the shaft with a condom (and I'd recommend doing so if ever sharing), but I suppose that would cut down on some of the nice texture.
