Ridged bullet - bullet vibrator by Nasstoys - review by ArmyWife Kira

When I first opened the shipping box containing the Ridged Bullet by Nasstoys I was pleasantly surprised. The packaging is totally hip and fun! There is nothing about the packaging that shouts,"I AM A SEX TOY!" It definitely is less intimidating than some other toy packaging and would be great for those that may feel uneasy about using toys or those that are new to sex toys.

The bullet comes encased in a plastic shell that easily pops open. So no need to wrestle with scissors and sharp plastic to get to your new toy. Plus, it can be resealed and used to store the bullet. The paper insert does not have any instructions for use but it's fairly easy to figure out. It does state what type batteries are needed as well as the size of the bullet and the material it is made of.

The Ridged Bullet requires 2AAA batteries which are not included. It is phthalates-free. The remote and bullet are made of ABS plastic and the ridged sleeve is made of TPE. It did have a slight chemical smell which did subside once it was washed. Now it smells more rubbery, but I have to get super close to smell it. The sleeve has ridges that are squishy but firm. The soft sleeve makes using this bullet during sex very comfortable. It is a little sticky so it attracts pet hair and dust but it can be easily cleaned off.

The bullet is 3" long and the cord is 30" long. Plenty long enough to keep the controls out of the way. The bullet vibe has 4 intensity settings. There are two buttons on the egg shaped control, an up and down arrow. This will sound stupid but I was initially confused by the controls because I usually hold the remote with the cord facing down in my hand. I assumed while holding it this way that the up arrow would turn the vibe on but it was the down arrow, meaning they intend the control to be held the other way. I am sure this is a personal thing but the shape of the controller makes it easier to hold with the cord down. There are 4 red lights that show you which intensity you are on. They also light up the control arrows.

The Ridged Bullet is waterproof. The cord entrance to the bullet is completely sealed and the controller's battery cover twists on and has a washer to prevent water from entering. The waterproof aspect also makes it very easy to clean. All you have to do is run it under warm water and clean with antibacterial soap. You may also use toy cleaner. TPE can not be disinfected and is porous so I do not recommend you share this toy. You can use both water and silicone based lubes with the Ridged Bullet.

The vibrations are dulled a little by the sleeve but it is still strong enough to do the job for me. It is amazingly quiet and can not be heard from behind a closed door, even on the highest setting. The bullet is fairly large with the sleeve so the vibrations aren't precise. It feels really good for clitoral and labial stimulation all at once. The sleeve CAN be removed if you want to use just the bullet.
