First vibrator - definitely satisfied

This is a good first vibrator, it produces a pretty strong intensity on the highest setting which feels great, but it can get a little loud on that setting. The Iconic Smoothie is a great introduction to sex toys and it is reasonable priced which is always a plus.

Use

The Iconic Smoothie is great for clitoral stimulation and penetration. It's waterproof so you can use it in the shower and relatively quiet, so someone in the next room probably won't hear what you are doing if the door is closed. I mainly use this for clitoral stimulation with a little vaginal penetration and as my first vibrator, it has definitely done the job! I do use this toy pretty often, so I have to keep replenishing the batteries, but it uses two double As which I usually have sitting around at home. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Material / Texture

The Iconic Smoothie is made of hard plastic which makes it very easy to clean. I personally use a toy cleaner, but the instructions say that it is alright to use soap and water.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is discreetly shaped and easy to store. The intensity is controlled by a dial at the base of the toy which can be accidentally adjusted while you are using it. Overall this is an easy toy to handle, however, if you get lube too close to the base of the toy it can become slippery and you may have to concentrate harder than you want to on keeping the toy in your hand.

For beginners, the toy is small enough to not be intimidating, but large enough to get the job done. While I love to add to my toy collection, I will definitely continue to use the Iconic Smoothie until I wear it out!

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations are controlled by a dial at the base of the toy. This makes the intensity easy to adjust, however, it is possible to adjust the intensity on accident. As you would expect, the toy is quietest when used one the lower settings, and the buzz can get to about the volume of a fan on low when it is set to the highest setting. The toy works well in water, though I prefer to use it while in bed.

Care and Maintenance

The Iconic Smoothie is incredible easy to care for! I always clean it with toy cleaner after use and dry it and then store it for later use, just like I was taught to do with all my toys when I was little. Since the toy is plastic, there is no difficulty in cleaning and the streamlined design makes it easy to store.

Follow-up commentary I still like it 3 months after original review

I still really like the Iconic Smoothie. However, I have found that the dial at the base of the toy which controls intensity has gotten really loose with multiple uses. I will continue to use this toy, but I am pretty sure I will need to replace it within the next few months.
