The Micro Butterfly Arouser is a clitoral stimulator that you use by slipping into the elastic strap harness. The bullet is in the center, the main "body" of the butterfly. The butterfly itself has a little ribbed texture to it and the head of the butterfly has two thin little antennas. It's connected to the control pack with a nice sized cord. The power pack itself lights up with bright colors and the colors change as the pack cycles through the various vibration settings. It requires three AA batteries to work.

Ideally, I was happy because you strap it on, turn it on and you have hands free pleasure for your clitoris. Use it by itself, during masturbation with another toy, intercourse; pretty much anytime you want some constant clitoral stimulation.

The butterfly clitoral stimulator is a soft yet firm jelly. Remember with jelly, you can't sanitize it which is one reason why I'm not so fond of jelly toys. The straps come completely off the toy which makes for easy cleaning of the butterfly with warm water and soap or a toy cleaner. It isn't waterproof though so be careful with that.

The straps are adjustable and stretchy. I was worried that the straps weren't long enough and worried they wouldn't adjust and stretch properly without tearing the soft toy. I went at it a little apprehensively but they fit nicely around my thighs, snug with room to work with thankfully. Though in my opinion, the straps could definitely stand to be a little longer given that they're adjustable and stretchy anyway. At a size 10 with thick thighs, there is still room to let the straps out more so I'm guessing at a size 15/16 or better, they might not be as comfortable or accommodating.

The power pack has three functions which are vibration, pulsation and escalation. It automatically and randomly rotates through those functions. You only control the intensity of those with the dial to move up and down for high and low speed settings. For me, that's a pro and con. On the pro side, you have constant stimulation but the way you're stimulated changes every time it alternates. So you get a little something and it's like an exciting little surprise when it rotates to the next one. It's pleasant and fun. On the con side, I would like it better if you could do the random rotation when you want and then be able to just pick a setting and leave it on there. When I was close to climaxing, having it switch from one function to the next randomly got to be a little distracting and also a little annoying. Not so much that I had to quit using it though since it did still feel good.

I was satisfied with the power the little bullet inside the butterfly has. The vibrations are meant to make the wings slightly wiggle and to make the little antennas tickle, tease and twitch around your clit. It does quite well at this on this on the mid to high speeds but I didn't much notice it when I had the vibration settings on low. On the lower speed settings, they don't feel like much more than really fast caresses and even tickled a little bit at first. I like a really strong vibration and this little number gets intense on the higher speeds. So much so that the antennas were almost a little too much to handle on the higher settings. Almost but not quite. For someone who doesn't like such a strong level of vibration, the higher settings might be a little painful or annoying to them.

It's a a bit on the noisy side. It's not loud enough to be distracting but it's loud enough that it can be annoying. It can be muffled with some music, loud moaning ;) or other background noise. The lights on the power pack blink and change colors as the toy cycles through the vibrations. I didn't find the lights distracting at all but then again I wasn't looking at the power pack either.

My biggest gripe is to keep the butterfly in place, you have to have the straps secured rather tightly. Otherwise, the butterfly flips out of place which is annoying. Having the straps tight isn't entirely unpleasant but I'd like it better if I didn't have them digging into my skin.

If you're looking for something to spice things up or if you really need clitoral stimulation to get off during sex, this might be something you should check out.

There is a variety of ways you can incorporate this toy with sex. If you can get off with only clitoral stimulation, just strap it on, turn it on and lay back thinking naughty thoughts as it buzzes away. I did that once, had a nice orgasm but it left my vagina aching for more.

This toy only has the basic function of stimulating the clitoris but you can use it during foreplay, masturbation and sex which to me makes it a versatile toy. The hands-free aspect the harness gives the butterfly is one of my favorite things about the toy. It makes using it during any sexual activity easy, especially if you don't have a free hand to work with.

I'm more in love with the design and the possibilities than I am with this toy in particular. I would definitely love to try out another strap-on clitoral stimulator though. This one is good but not a must in my toy box.
