Heat in Just the Right Place
What can I say? The heat really is the best thing about this product and the best reason to buy it. I bought it on a whim and am so glad I did.Published: February 28, 2011
Pros:
The heat really is the best part of this toy.
Cons:
The hard plastic is the only drawback. It would be nice if this had a jelly or silicone cover.
I purchased this vibe strictly because I was interested in the infrared heat. The vibe is a hard plastic as indicated by some of the comments.
This vibe only comes in black, which can be a turn off for some. Don't let that stop you!! The infrared heat portion gives off a nice red glow and changes the whole look of the vibe. It takes C batteries which gives it a little more power in my opinion.
What I love:
The heat can be used with or without the vibrations, and the vibrations do not have to include heat. I found that having just the heat on made for an awesome experience when coupled with a clitoral massage aid. The vibrations are powerful enough to get you where you need to go without driving you there too fast.
What is not so great:
The hard plastic -- it does not give when it comes to insertion. For some, this might cause some discomfort. During my first use, I did find that having only a portion inserted with the heat on made for a very pleasurable experience.

I used this vibe in solo play. I was interested to see how the heat would work with just basic play. The heat was not overly obvious to me at first. I even had to check to make sure it was warming up. Once it got warm though, I found a whole new sensation for insertion. I have only ever used smaller vibes prior to this toy. I found the hard plastic took a little adjusting too, but once I had it inserted to a comfortable length and let the heat and vibrations do their job, it was VERY enjoyable.
I have also used the vibe to provide pin-pointed heat to aching muscles after a long day. It works well for helping with relaxation.

How does this work? are the vibrations and heat controlled by buttons? Are there different level of either? How hot does it get? Is it waterproof?
The heat and the vibrations are controlled by turning the dial at the of the unit. As far as I can tell it is not waterproof.
There is one setting for heat, which allows you to then turn the dial to add vibrations to the heat.
Heat -- I would say pleasantly warm. Not enough to cause discomfort in most people but enough that you know it's there and you can feel the heat radiating out.
There is another setting for just the vibrations.
So you can use the heat apart from the vibrations.
