I couldn't stop myself!
The G Twister is a dual action vibrator that's so powerful it can bring you to orgasm in only a few minutes.Published: October 2, 2008
Pros:
POWERFUL! Filling, textured, and fun!
Cons:
The buttons are sensitive and too close together.
I don't own a lot of rabbit, aka dual action, vibrators. For years I've stuck with the Eager Beaver, it's what I believed to be the perfect fit for me. However, it's made out of jelly which means it requires a condom with every use and after a year or so I have to buy a new one because the porous material starts to break down. Despite its flaws I really thought it was the right one; however, after one orgasm the G Twister blew that damn beaver right out of the water.
Let's talk facts. The G Twister is made out of TPR silicone. This is a semi-porous material, so you should really use condoms if you plan on sharing a TPR silicone toy. With this particular material silicone lubricant is a no-go but if you're brave enough you can certainly test your silicone lubricant with this toy to see if they're compatible. The deciding factor is the purity of the silicone in the toy and purity of the silicone in the lubricant, just take a dab of the lube and rub it on the base of the toy, if it starts to get gummy and messy they aren't compatible.
The texture of this particular TPR silicone toy feels like a cross between rubber and velvet cote. It feels solid which means it's also a bit weighty. However, it's not uncomfortable to hold and it's easy to thrust. On the end of the curved shaft there are thirteen raised nubs meant to stimulate your g-spot. I'm not sure if I was effectively stroking my g-spot but I can tell you the textured tip of this toy felt incredible when inserted. Better yet, the shaft rotates a full 360 degrees. It has three speeds of rotation and the button in the middle of the keypad allows you to change the direction in which it rotates. The rotations are tight and the speeds of rotation don't differ all that much from one another but when it's plunged deep inside of you spinning and pumping, it feels amazing.
The clitoral stimulator can look a little threatening. When the toy is turned off and you touch the "spikes" they do feel hard. While they are movable and semi-squishy they're still firm. However, once the toy is vibrating against your clitoris, the "spikes" move together in an almost circular pattern ultimately erasing any fears you had about them being uncomfortable. There are three speeds of simultaneous vibrations (sorry, no pulsations or escalations with this toy) which can only be felt in the clitoral part of the toy. Those vibrations are loud and they are powerful. Imagine the Hitachi, while not as loud as that, it's power is very similiar to it's lower setting. It's an absolute POWERHOUSE, the highest speed vibrates hard and fast and yes, it can be a little numbing for sensitive users.
With a 5" circumference this is a filling toy. The solid TPR silicone coupled with the raised nubs on the tip and curve of the shaft give you a comfortable feeling of fullness that I haven't been able to find with most other toys. While it can only be inserted 4", that's really all you need to effectively get off; if are unsure much like I am about whether or not you're stimulating your g-spot just count the seconds it takes you to get off. After 2 minutes of play I was cumming and I couldn't stop myself. Normally I have full control over the situation, I can tease myself up to the point of being able to orgasm but I'm always able to stop myself the moment before. I was unable to stop myself from having an orgasm with the G-spot twister because of two factors. One, it's so powerful you almost feel like you have to cum. In truth, I wasn't very turned on when I started to masturbate but the feeling of the vibrations against my clitoris were an immediate turn-on. Two, the buttons are too close to one another and are very sensitive to the touch. Each time I went to turn down the vibrations I ended up turning down the rotations. They aren't spaced far enough apart for you to coherently understand which one you're pressing. Even after my third orgasm with this toy I still didn't have it down right. Frankly though, if you're in this to cum quick and hard, the buttons aren't even an issue.
If you want a powerful toy, don't mind a little noise and love new textures, the G Twister is one of the best dual action vibes you can find.

Experience
Is the G spot twister phthalate-free? The jury is still out. While Eden doesn't list it as being so, I found another website that did. I emailed Orion (the manufacturer) and asked. I'm not sure if I filled out the contact form correctly as the website is in German but the moment I hear back from EF and from Orion I'll let everyone know whether or not it does or does not contain phthalates.

Thank you for viewing G twister – vibrator review page!

Wow. That sounds impressive. I was actually going to order the Beaver on Saturday based on your review. I may be changing that. :) Thanks!!
Beautiful, don't get me wrong, the EB is STILL a great vibe. However, it's jelly and requires condoms which can become a real pain in the ass. The beaver has that great little tickling tongue which can be small for some people whereas the G Twister has a WIDE clitoral stimulator that's bound to reach every little nook and cranny. While two very different vibrators, the G twister will replace my Eager Beaver but only because I crave a maddeningly powerful vibrator. The EB is still great but on a completely different level. Don't let my review discourage you from experiencing that toy because it's still fabulous for what it is and what it does, just at this point in time and for my need of speed, the G Twister is a better fit for me. I love them both, but the G Twister wins because of how much more thicker, more powerful, and more texturized it is. It's a BOLD vibrator. :)
Wow. I'll recommend this to a friend. Thanks for the review!
Heck, I'd like it if it weren't for the noise factor (nosy family member).
The pink! It burns!!!
Otherwise, I want it.
Innocently, it's great!!! As far as the noise goes, just turn it down. Don't have it on full power and I'm quite certain you'll be fine. I run a fan as well when I don't want to be disturbed and my husband is none the wiser.
Epiphora, trust me there are colors that just make me want to vomit. I had to learn to get over it though because if I didn't I would not have found the great toys I have.
Wow, textures indeed.
So that's interesting, any number of TPR silicone toys might have phthalates.
Hmmmm this review has me almost ordering the toy right now...it's definately going on my next order! I love a maddeningly powerful vibrator as well. Thanks for the review!

You're welcome, Airen! I'm glad I've been able to demonstrate the great points of this vibrator but I just want to point out that since it does contain phthalates (insert sad face here) that I recommend using condoms with it. Happy holidays and happy shopping!
