This toy was definitely designed
I love stimulating vibration, especially on my clit during foreplay. Two AA batteries for a bullet or an egg don’t usually give me enough vibration, especially to give me an orgasm, so I thought I’d give the
Wicked Super Slim Double Bullet by California Exotic a try, since it used 4 AA batteries, and had twice the bullets of what I’m used to.
My husband and I were excited when the package came in the mail (he is really enjoying reviewing sex toys!). We eagerly opened the box and took out the toy to put in our batteries, and that’s when we noticed the first problem this toy had. The battery case is a see-through blue color, and very pretty, but it would not latch closed to hold in the batteries. While this was solved by wrapping a rubber band around the controller, it seemed a bit impractical.
The controller for the bullets has 2 dials on it, and each bullet’s vibration can be controlled separately. The vibrations range from light to fairly intense. The bullets are a bit over 2” long and attached to the controller by fairly long cords. They are slim, and we found them a good fit into the base of some silicone dildos we had. We maxed out both bullets and, while the vibrations were nice they could be stronger. They weren’t as earth-shattering as I had hoped. I even tried both bullets over my clit, which was an interesting sensation, but not climax inducing, and it was difficult to keep both bullets in the right spot. I think each bullet is powered by two AA, instead of both by four. The toy is fairly quiet, even when both dials are turned up to the maximum.
The bullets are easy to clean, as they are made of plastic (this toy is also phthalates-free). Just be sure not to submerge the bullets as they are not waterproof and water can get in and short out the bullets.
One other problem we found with this toy was that it would not stay off. I typically leave batteries in my toys, as they receive frequent use and it’s not usually a problem, but I had to remove them for this toy. When I’d have the unit off, the slightest bump would cause the dials to turn slightly and the bullets to start vibrating all over the counter top.
Overall, this toy produces pleasant vibrations, but the controller is very cheaply made and there are probably better bullet/egg products out there.
This toy works well as an insert into silicone dildos that have the hole in the base. Since the bullets are slim they fit well into most dildos, and because the bullets are corded, they are easily removed. We tried this with several dildos we have and it worked well--the vibrations are enough to travel down the length of the toy. Using it this way also allowed us to have both bullets in play (and they both have to be in play. Since one little bump causes the bullet that's off to kick on, it might as well be useful!).
Perhaps twice the bullets halved the power of each. It is nice that they fit into bases, but I'd imagine that having two of them could get in the way also.
Removing batteries is better anyway, it prevents slow draining of the batteries and the possibility of erosion in the toy itself.
Nice review.
I probably should get in that habit (removing the batteries) with some of my other toys.
Thanks :-)
