This body massager fits well in the palm of the hand and provides pleasant moderate vibrations. It is a great accessory for massages and soothes very well. It can be used with the massage oil of your choice. It is just a little bit too noisy in the context of a relaxing massage.
The MiMi Lil'Massager is a small and compact massager that is made for external use. It fits really well inside the palm of one's hand during a massage, but does not seem designed with clitoral stimulation in mind. If used on the clitoris, the massager will just sit over a large area and not be strong enough to give an orgasm. This is a real body massager and works great in that area.
The massager entirely made from smooth ABS plastic, except for the control button, which is made of a soft white plastic in the back. The massager feels nice against the skin with or without lubricant or massage oil.
ABS plastic is non-porous, is hypo-allergenic and does not contain phthalates.
The texture on the massaging side is not particularly felt on the skin during a massage and does not distract from the vibrations.
The massager is circular and had a diameter of 3 inches and is 1.5” deep. It fits well in the hand and it is easy to have a good grip by squeezing around the circumference. It is suitable for everyone.
The front and the back of the massager are made of purple plastic and are held together by a white section of plastic around the circumference. The back purple section is the battery cap and is as large as the front section.
You open the cap by sliding it sideways. There are the words ‘Close' and ‘Open' next to an arrow to indicate in what direction it will open. The cap is easy to open with a slight push, and will not open accidentally during use. There is a soft plastic seal running all long the perimeter of the battery cap and makes the massager splash-proof.
The massager runs on two AAA batteries, which are not included.
It's discreet and you can technically bring it anywhere you want as long as the volume of the massager will not disturb anyone.
There is only one vibration level and is of moderate intensity. The vibrations may seem strong for someone new to vibrating toys and massagers. The vibrations are felt equally on the surface of the massager and are appropriate for a body massager.
The control button has to be pressed once to turn the vibrations on and once again to turn them off. The vibrations cannot be turned off accidentally during use, since you have to press down the plastic button in the center to turn it off. The pressure of a palm during a massage will not turn it off.
The volume of the massager is similar to a small bullet. It can be heard through the bed covers and could be heard through a closed door if everything is silent.
The packaging said not to immerse it in water, but when I washed it, I figured the seal would handle more than a few drops of water, and it did. I washed it with soap while my hands were dripping wet with water and nothing got inside. The control button is also tightly sealed on the battery cap.
The massager is easy to care for, you can wash this item with soap and water or toy cleaner and can be wiped with isopropyl alcohol.
Plastic is compatible with water-based, oil-based and silicone-based lubricants, and is obviously also compatible with massage oils.
The massager is not fragile and can be stored almost anywhere where you would store toys, as long as it is not too humid a place to make sure that the mechanism does not rust. You must also remove the batteries after each use.
The packaging is a small see-through plastic box where the massager is displayed. It came with instructions that were folded and came in several languages, but they were generic instructions for vibrators and did not apply to the massager at all.
I had to figure everything out on my own. I thought it would not be very complicated, but it still took me a few tries to locate exactly what was the battery cap and to get it open.
As a generic massager, it does an excellent job. It's comfortable in the hand and slides smoothly over the skin to soothe and massage. I had a few nice goose bumps as I was running this massager over my skin. The vibrations are suitable for a body massage and but, like I said, it's not designed for clitoral stimulation. The design and the vibration level makes this massager more teasing than anything else. I knew by looking at it that it would be a body massager and I did not expect anything special in terms of clitoral stimulation. As a result, I am completely satisfied with this. I just find it a little too loud for a relaxing massage, and that's where it's losing a star.
I do not have warming massage oil, but that's definitely something I would want to use with this massager. I just wish I had someone to give me a really good back massage. What I could achieve on my own was only partially satisfying.
Since it's a discreet plastic massager, it does not scream “Romantic massager or vibrator” and could be used with a friend to give a pleasant back massage. It slides easily over clothes and the vibrations are clearly felt through clothes.
I recommend this Mimi Lil'Massager to everyone, single or not, as a massage accessory. It's simple in design, easy to use, and it works great.

My opinion of the Mimi Lil'Massager has not changed. I still like its cute discreet shape and color, and I use it from time to time to relieve sore muscles and for body-specific massages. I had some really bad neck and upper back pain lately and the strong vibration helped remove it. In that particular case, having an already noisy vibrator next to my ears was far from mentally relaxing, but it's usually tolerable when used elsewhere.
Maybe if some music was playing and I had someone to talk to, I could overlook a little the noise level or be distracted from it. But then, I think I have a particularly low tolerance to sounds.
Anyways, still a good, durable product, easy to use, and fits well within the palm of the hand during massages.
