The Mimi Lil' Massager Take Me Anywhere, by California Exotic Novelties, is fast becoming one of my favorite body massagers. I've used her over 10 times now, and she's still got some juice left in the first set of batteries. Which were not included with Mimi.

Mimi is meant for external use only, and should not be inserted in the vagina or anus.
I do not believe that this is physically possible, but I thought that I should add it just in case. Please don't try to prove me wrong.

Mimi is not quiet by any means, but she is a fantastic addition to a body massage. The evening that I received Mimi in the mail, my partner and I enjoyed a fully body massage, aided by guess who? No one else but Mimi, in all of her tacky but cute, loud, neon lime green glory!

That evening I fell in love with Mimi. But fell out of love again, when I found out that the massage oils get stuck under the cover to the battery compartment, and around the on/off button, and are a pain in the a** to get cleaned out.

Mimi is made of plastic of course! With a name like Mimi, what do you expect?

She's made with food grade, hypoallergenic, ABS plastic. This plastic is hard and nonporous, and phthalates and latex free. (This might make her a good gift for someone allergic to other materials.)

Mimi, and I have developed a serious love hate relationship. I love to hate her, and love her, at the same time. I love that she's so flashy, with her 80's inspired neon green and white attire, and I love that she makes a body massage just delightful. But.. when it comes down to bringing on the clitoral orgasms, Mimi just doesn't cut the mustard.

I found out when I was using Mimi for clitoral stimulation, she got the job done but definitely nothing that I'm gonna write home about. My orgasms were lacking that extra gusto that I get from a more powerful bullet, or clitoral vibrator. For clitoral orgasms, Mimi gets a D+/C-, barely passing.

Mimi is a circular shaped clitoral vibrator. She is shaped like a large pill or another reviewer has even said a powder puff. Her measurements are a 3" diameter and a width of 1 1/4".

Mimi is small, and can easily be hidden in a purse, locker, drawer, backpack, messenger bag, carry on etc.

I'd say both the shape and design are OK on this vibrator, the only thing really lacking is the oomph. No gusto. Maybe If Mimi were to be designed in a different shape. Let's say a triangle, with more of a pinpointed vibrating area that could easily be held on the clitoris. She may just be more effective. Maybe, maybe not.

Mimi looks like a body massager, but not necessarily a clitoral vibrator. Thus she is discreet enough for travel, even though her color screams "look at me, I'm semi trashy".

Yah doll, ya' gotta love the lime green.

Mimi is, a one speed kind of gal. On or off, and that's it.

Loud and user friendly, Mimi is very easy to use, just a push of the On/Off button and she's buzzing away. Push the same button, and she'll shut up. I mean turn off. Gee, I wish all loud people had an off button, and I also wish Mimi had more than one speed. Which I think is set to: Tame. Ok, so normally I don't like a mean-ass vibe, I just enjoy power that I can control. Mimi more than talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. For bringing clitoral orgasms, she's weaker than the watered down tequila shots served in T.J. Bum deal.

Other than her non intensity, the second biggest issue that I see with Mimi is that she's got a big mouth. I mean very loud buzz. Some people have children, roommates, and neighbors that they don't want hearing their vibes. If you fall into any of these categories, then my girlfriend Mimi isn't the friend for you. I swear that my neighbors can hear her right through the brick walls. Mimi's loud enough that I wouldn't dare use her if I had company staying over. (Lucky for me I don't have a spare room In this flat, so I'm A-OK.)

I was totally excited when I found out that California Exotic Novelties was sponsoring this product for me to review, and I wish I had a much better experience to tell. Unfortunately, it was very hard for me to have an orgasm using Mimi. I had to focus all of my attention and really zone out, just to have a weak orgasm that left me feeling eh, whatever.

The vibrations are located somewhere in the middle of the toy. In no certain area did I feel a stronger vibration, when I tried holding the toy to my clit in different ways. I believe that I'm able to orgasm using Mimi solely because I use her for longer periods of time. After some time, my sensitivity heightens, and I'm able to orgasm much easier. Mimi's just not strong enough to make my clit a super happy lady.

OK, with all of that said. The neat thing is, that Mimi is actually an exceptional addition to a body massage! Yep, her low vibrations massaged my body into bliss a few of the last evenings. Which makes me totally glad that I was able to recieve this product from California Exotics for free to review. Thank You, Cal Exotics! Mimi's medium to low vibrations soothed especially my neck and back, and left them feeling weightless after the massage. When used in combination with massage oil... Mimi rocked my massage world!

Mimi is compatible with ALL types of lubricants. So feel at ease, when using silicone or any other lubricant, or massage oil with her. The bottom of Mimi's outer packaging states "Do not immerse in water". Mimi is not waterproof, so don't use her in the shower, bath or pool. She will break.

Clean Mimi up after each use by washing with a toy cleaner or antibacterial soap and warm water, or use a disinfectant spray. Because the massage oil, or lubricant, seeps up underneath the seal of the battery cover, be sure to remove the cover and clean there as well. Don't forget to remove the batteries before cleaning. After you've cleaned her up, wipe all the water that may have gotten in the battery compartment and let her completely dry, before you store her.

Mimi came packaged in a clear plastic box that is decorated with purple polka dots and lime green font reading "Mimi Lil' Massager Take Me Anywhere!". It's totally cute and *loud* looking. The box can easily be wrapped up for gift giving, and measures 4 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep. The box is small and also sturdy enough to keep for storage of the massager. Mimi also came with a users manual, which is written in English, Dutch, German, French, Italian and Spanish. (I read English, French, Spanish & German so I had no problems.)

On Mimi's bottom side, I'll call "her booty", CLOSE and OPEN are molded in the plastic, above the ON on the battery cover. I pushed down on her booty, on the area labeled OPEN. I was able to pop open the battery compartment, on her cute lil' booty, in a flash. Put 2 AAA batteries in and she's ready for play. Then put the cover on and slide the cover down to close. Very simple, just be sure to close the cover tight, so it doesn't come off during a massage or play session.

I believe Mimi deserves a 3 star rating because she gets about 60-65% of the job done. I do have an orgasm when using her, but it's not anything special. Just the same, Mimi is an awesome body massager. Stereotypical, love/hate.

When using Mimi for Clitoral stimulation, I find she works better to use with a partner and in combination with another type of stimulation. Mimi was a great addition to when my partner and I give and receive oral. Mimi massages the testicles very well, and I've liked adding her in when I give my partner a blow job. Let her rub his balls for a little while. My hands get tired.
