The
Pink Jelly Ele with Turbo Pearls is a difficult toy for me to review. It has several features I really like, but the toy overall left me rather out in the cold.
The Pink Jelly Ele is obviously a toy that will appeal to fans of rotating pearls, since the entire shaft is filled with them, from the head to the base. There is a control to make them rotate in either direction, and at different speeds. I enjoyed the feeling on slow speeds, but actually found it rather painful when I cranked it up.
The clitoral stimulator is powerful enough, but very, very small and didn’t really do a whole lot to impress me, even though it has a dedicated motor.
One feature I loved about this toy is that it takes 3 C batteries. I generally LOVE toys that take 3 C batteries, since I’m a bit of a power queen. However, in the case of the Jelly Ele, I think most of the power is used to fuel the rotation of the beads, so the clitoral stimulator is not any stronger than that found on an average rabbit vibe. Also, the shaft does not vibrate while the pearls rotate, so again, I’m kind of at a loss as to what exactly happens to all that power.
The batteries are contained in a wired hand-pack with very simple controls. There are two levers to control the speed of the clit stimulator and the pearl rotation, and a button to control the direction of the pearl rotation. The hand pack is also a feature I really like in a rabbit vibe, but this one is so simple as to not really be necessary (except as a case for the batteries, of course).
The toy is quite quiet, even on its highest speeds, which is also a nice feature, especially considering the battery power.
