The cord is fairly short at about 20". It is coated with wire covering and is fairly thin. There is a waterproof plug where it joins the bullet. I do not suggest using excessive pulling of the cord, this tends to short them out which will eventually lead to the death of your bullet. If you are using your bullet for insertion, I recommend using a condom for removal purposes. This will extend the life of your bullet by reducing the stress of tugging the cord for removal.

The controller is very compact and comfortable to use. It is 3 1/2" long, 1" wide and 1/2" thick on the finger holds. The back has molded indentations for your fingers, the front has a molded indentation for your thumb and the base is round. It is comfortable to hold on to and the finger molds make it easy to use the controls without looking. I have never seen or used a more ergonomic controller.

The base screws off for battery insertion. You will need 2 AAA batteries. These do last quite awhile unless you use this bullet on the highest power for extended periods of time. I was able to get about 4-6 hours of use out of the batteries depending on what levels I tried.

The bullet is waterproof and very easy to use. I would recommend using oil or silicone lube if playing in the water, however for daily use out of the tub I use water based lubricants. The water did not dampen the intensity of the vibrations and the noise levels were muted.

This controller has a dedicated on/off button. This means you no longer have to cycle through the vibration levels to turn the bullet off when you are finished. Just push the off button and smile! There is no memory, so you will have to remember which pulsation you were at if the button gets pushed by accident.

There are 10 levels of vibrations and pulses that are changed by pushing the top button on the controller. The new pulsation patterns available make this a unique experience that was also extremely enjoyable. The levels are:
1. Low steady vibration
2. Medium steady vibration
3. High & fast steady vibration (slightly louder)
4. 5 quick burst, 1 steady escalating burst
5. Series very quick bursts
6. Faster and closer version of #5 (slightly louder)
7. Escalating power and 5 short bursts
8. Short burst escalating to couple longer bursts
9. Steady escalation to very high vibration that ends with flutters (slightly louder)
10. Flutters, escalating pulses, longer harder pulses to steady burst

The basic noise level of this bullet is extremely quiet, however on the levels noted above, the level increased slightly and my husband was able to notice them when he was standing about four to five feet away. Under a blanket, this would be soundless.

Since the Extreme Gold Bullet is hard plastic, clean up is a breeze. Wash the bullet with warm soapy water, rinse and dry. I always go back over it with a toy cleaner, but rubbing alcohol is very effective as well.

I use a damp washcloth or toy wipe for the cord and controller. Be careful when wiping around the controls and cord entrance. For any residue in the seam of the bullet, I use a baby toothbrush and scrub gently until clean.

I use the plastic insert and box this product came in for storage. It is compatible with other materials, however, I keep all products away from jellies and silicones due to melting and discoloration issues.

The package is a plastic, see-through box that is not discreet. The printing does inform you of the waterproof capability, the 10 function vibrations, LED power and vibration light, EZ on/off button, whisper quiet and that it is a powerful & discreet bullet.

I do use the box for storage, but for travel I would use a small make up bag. This bullet fits very nicely in a purse pocket or eyeglass case.
