Pleasure dome - vibrator accessory by Downunder Toys - review by Essin' Em

As soon as I saw this Hitachi cover, I coveted it. I wanted it, and I wanted it now. Lucky for me, it became mine once it arrived in a little white box in the mail.

The Pleasure Dome is made out of 100% silicone and comes from the land Down Under. Unlike some Hitachi caps which are made to replace the original white cap, this one pops over the regular cap, and can be removed for cleaning (and sterilizing by boiling or dishwasher).

When I first tried to put it on, I read the small instruction card, and they said to not force it on, as it might rip the silicone. I followed directions and put a bit of lube on the head of the Hitachi before trying to slip the cap on, and suddenly, my attempt at some self loving turned into a comedy of errors. The cap would slip one way, the wand the other, and my fingers were not lube-y and that didn't help any. I'm sure my cats were laughing at me.

However, I finally got it on, and settled down for some testing. I was wondering how well the cap would feel, because I like heavy vibrations, and I know that silicone usually doesn't translate them as well as some other materials. My fears were soon laid to rest, as the vibrations were just as fabulous as they have always been.

The cap itself is a lovely lavender, and has glitter all over it (that doesn't come off, don't worry). I tried it with the bumps on the outside, and it felt delightful, definitely better than the smooth cap. I have yet to try it inside out (I'm afraid I'll never get it back on, and will be covered in lube for life!), but I'll be sure to check it out and write a follow up review.

As a Hitachi lover and connoisseur, I highly highly highly recommend this cap as a perfect wand accessory. By using it, you make clean up easy, AND you can share the Hitachi with others, without fear of sharing bacteria and STIs. An excellent addition to anyone's collection!
