The Pleasure Softee G-Spot Curve by California Exotic Novelties is a G-spot vibrator. It is contoured to reach and stimulate the female G-spot. It is meant to be used vaginally, but can also stimulate the clitoris very nicely due to its pointed tip and scooped head.

The base of the Softee is plain old plastic with an Eden safety rating of 8. The shaft of the vibrator is made of TPR, which has a safety rating of 7. It may be used with silicone- and water-based lubricants. The material is soft and pliable with a little bit of drag, so lubricant should be used. This product has no taste or smell. Because of the texture of this product, it picks up hair and lint somewhat badly, but this easily wipes off.

The Softee is 8" long with an insertable length of 6 1/2". It has a 4 1/2" circumference with a 1 1/4" diameter. The shaft is contoured to perfectly fit a woman's body, with a flattened, somewhat scooped head that comes to a point at about a 20 degree angle to stimulate the female G-spot. It is widest at this point. The base twists off to insert 2 AAA batteries. The battery compartment features a sturdy O-ring, making the toy waterproof. The shaft is made up of TPR, so it is soft and flexible at the neck for added comfort. This toy is not designed to be used anally, as it lacks a flared base and could become lost. There is a noticeable seam running around the length of the toy, but this cannot be felt during use.

This toy is completely waterproof, so have fun in the shower! It is multi-speed, runs off of 2 AAA batteries, and has push button controls. The button at the bottom of the base cycles through the three speeds, pressing it a fourth time turns the toy off. The button is easy to press, even with one hand, making the toy easy to use. At its highest speed I give this product 4 Vrooms and 3 Bees. It cannot be heard through a closed door or in the shower. On its lowest setting, I can't even hear it over my ceiling fan. The vibrations are located in the head, making for intense stimulation. For the G-spot, this toy is pretty great, though I'd like to point out that I have trouble finding that elusive spot! Others may not have this problem. It also feels great used on the clitoris, the pointed tip making for really intense stimulation.

The Softee can be cleaned up with simple antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner. Remember to use a condom if sharing. Do not boil or bleach this product, or put it through a dish washer. You may want to store it in its own little drawstring bag to prevent hair and lint from getting on it, though these things do wipe off easily.

The packaging isn't discreet whatsoever. It is a plastic box. The toy is fully visible through the clear front, nestled snugly into a molded plastic tray. The box was covered with a clear plastic film, which was coming off when I received it, pulling the rest of the box apart in the process. After removing the film, the box folded easily back together. The plastic is brittle and sharp, so it's not ideal for storage. The front of the package reads "Pleasure Softee" then lists "3 Speed, EZ-Push Button, Contoured, Supple and Silky Smooth." A logo at the bottom says that it is waterproof. The top corner reads "G-Spot Curve." The side panel lists the company information, the materials, safety warnings, cleanup instructions, and use. The back is the same as the front, but features a picture of the product instead of showing it. Inside was a very small piece of paper showing how to insert the batteries.

This is my first G-spot vibrator. I really like it. It has a nice texture, isn't too big or intimidating (though it's bigger than I was expecting). I do need to use a little lubricant with it, because the material has a little bit of drag. I find that thrusting with it gets me over the edge easier and faster than simply letting it rest on my G-spot (which I have trouble finding). I'm really happy with this product and I'm looking forward to trying other G-spot toys. I'd like to add that I ordered the purple and it has this lovely opalescent sheen that turns slightly blue in the light!
