The use of this vibrator is very easy. Once you open the package and pop in the batteries, it is just a twist of a dial. When I got my first one, the batteries would not work in the device no matter what way you put them, but it was resolved with a new model. This Pleasure Ripple vibrator is a simple product to use.

This toy is made out of rubber, meaning it does not clean very well and you should uses a condom with every use to extend the life of the toy. When I first got the purple pleasure ripple it smelled bad. It was a horrible plastic smell. Even now after quite a few washings and uses there is still a slight plastic smell to it. This is a ribbed toy which is awesome, along with the vibrations it adds what the toy lacks elsewhere.

This toy is not discrete; anyone would know what it was upon finding it. It is an average sized toy, so hiding it would be no problem. The overall design is great for solo play, but my husband has yet to get over the fact that it does curve upwards. As I said, it is just over six inches long, therefore average, which is great for beginners; but i think the curve of the purple pleasure ripple would toss it towards more of an experienced person.

The controls of this vibrator are simple to use and easy to figure out. It is just a twist of the dial to rev the vibrations up. The dial is located on the bottom of the toy and easy to access once inserted. It is not a noisy toy, so it could be used in a dorm room setting.

The purple pleasure ripple is a rubber toy, very porous though wear resistant. If sharing with partners there should be a condom in use. It is recommended to use a condom every time no matter the partners or not to make the toy last longer. It does not clean well, so just use a regular toy cleaner along with the condom for every use. Only use water and silicone based lubes.
