Mood seductive - sex toy by Doc Johnson - review by Annemarie

The Mood: Seductive by Doc Johnson is a rabbit vibrator, with a gently curved tip for g-spot stimulation, and a delicate non-animal clitoral stimulator. This would be great for women who are new to rabbit vibrators, new to g-spot stimulation, or new to sex toys as a whole; or women who want a safer alternative to lesser materials, of which many other rabbit vibrators are made, as this is made of silicone.

The Seductive can be used in a solo situation, as part of foreplay with a partner, in the shower, in the tub... really, anywhere and in any situation.

The shaft and clitoral stimulator of the Mood: Seductive are coated in plushy, squishy, soft, smooth, matte silicone. Silicone is nonporous, tasteless, hypoallergenic, phthalate- and latex-free. This toy did have a distinct scent upon opening, but it's not overpowering and will likely fade away with time.

There is a wavy ridge that runs along both sides of the toy, and on the clitoral stimulator, but these are not felt much during use. The shaft is only flexible in one spot, about an inch below the tip, between the two motors, a cavity that is about half an inch long. Where the clitoral stimulator meets the shaft is very flexible; it is bendable to the point of standing straight up.

Because of the very gentle waviness of the texture, the bit of flex, and the plushy soft silicone, this would be suitable for beginners and advanced users alike, or those who are sensitive to textures as well as those who enjoy them.

The Mood: Seductive is fairly long at 9" in length, though certainly not the largest rabbit vibrator out there. This size makes it fairly indiscreet and rather blatant. The 5" of insertable length allows the g-spot tip to make the acquaintance of just about everyone's g-spot, whether it is deep or shallow. This toy is also very slim, at 1" in diameter (3" in circumference), an absolutely perfect size for a beginner, whether it be to g-spot stimulation or sex toys in general. The clitoral tickler is just over 2.25" long, from tip to root. The handle is comfortable to hold in any position, being 2.5" long from bottom to the silver ring. As an owner of large hands, it did not feel uncomfortable to hold for 30 minutes at a time.

As noted before, the waves are a nice touch to make it not completely smooth, and to give it a nice flair. The 'hummingbird' nose on the clitoral stimulator is, while being smooth, sensitive to even the most mild of the vibration, making it tickle your girly button just so.

On the base of the Mood: Seductive, there are two buttons for controls. One is a dedicated power button, for quick on and off, and the other is a funky-looking, zig-zag design, which goes through the patterns and turns on the vibrator if it's off. The buttons are easy to press, but sometimes don't register; pressing hard and completely down remedies this.

Now, here's the neat-o factor. With most other vibrators that have patterns, you start at the beginning (with steady vibrations at different levels, increasing), and then move into the patterns. If you have to turn off the vibrator, you have to find your favorite pattern again, by scrolling through. Not with the Mood: Seductive! When you find a pattern you enjoy, and then turn it off, it will turn right back to the pattern you last had when you turn it on again.

As for the patterns, the Mood: Seductive boasts 10, which are circular in that you never have to go 'backwards,' you just go through again. While it has dual motors, you cannot control them singularly. The vibrations are located just under the g-spot tip and in the clitoral stimulator.

1. The best starting place, a steady and fast vibration, a typical 'high.' It's somewhere between buzzy and throbby.
2. Steady, medium. A little throbbier than high.
3. Steady, low. This is light, but still throbbier than medium.
4. Three quick beats, escalating, then a longer pulse. (This one is hard to describe)
5. Short pulses. About 20 in 5 seconds.
6. Longer pulses. About 15 in 5 seconds.
7. Short, but faster pulses. Maybe 30 in 5 seconds.
8. Longer, but faster pulses. About 20 in 5 seconds.
9. Longest buzzes. About 10 in 5 seconds.
10. Steady, very short pulses, though very low. These pulses are so short, they are almost constant throbbage. Uncountable.

This toy is waterproof, with a gasket right underneath the silver ring. It held up fine with submerging it in the sink during washing, and during a shower.

As for noise, it is very quiet. You will not hear this through a door, and possibly not even across the room under some blankets.

Being silicone, the best way to clean this, day-to-day, is to wash it in hot water with antibacterial soap or with commercial toy cleaner. For a deeper clean, you can use a 10% bleach solution or swab it down with alcohol. It is inadvisable to put this in the dishwasher or in boiling water, even if it is waterproof.

Only used water-based lubricants with the Mood: Seductive, or you could ruin your lovely toy. Storage is easy; the toy does not pick up a ton of lint. Store all silicone away from lesser materials and separate from other silicone.

The Mood: Seductive comes packaged in an attractive heavy-weight paper box, with a window to see the toy in its plastic molded tray, which slides right out of the box. The front has the name of the toy, some very pretty scroll-work and notes that it is made of silicone, has 10 functions, dual bullets, and is water proof. On the back is a blurb about the Mood toy line, and a succinct description of the toy in 6 languages. The packaging isn't great for storage: it is very long and large. Overall, it makes a nice impression and would make good gift packaging.

The toy comes with Doc Johnson's standard Vibrator Instruction Manual, also in 6 languages, which includes battery insertion (however, no diagram corresponds to the way the Seductive's batteries go in), instructions for use, and some warnings.

To insert the batteries, twist the battery compartment to the left, about 90 degrees. It doesn't unscrew by normal definitions, but it will pop off. If you stick your finger in the battery compartment, there is a little rolled up, clear plastic sheet detailing how to put the necessary AA batteries in. It is not necessary to completely remove the sheet for the toy to work; the batteries fit more snugly with the sheet in and don't make as much noise.

This is only my second rabbit, actually, and the other rabbit I own is retired. I thought that, awhile ago, I didn't like rabbits. But, this toy has made me appreciate them.

I rather like this rabbit for longer play situations, where I can enjoy the buildup to a great orgasm.

It does nothing for my g-spot, I'm sad to admit, but I need very firm pressure. This just does not give it. However, it still does provide much vaginal stimulation, and the clitoral stimulation is just perfect, even if it isn't the strongest out there, it is surprisingly throbby for a slimline rabbit.

Objectively, as this is a description review, this toy is worth 4 stars. It's well made, has lots of patterns, waterproof, made of silicone, and has good vibrations.
Subjectively, this is also 4 stars.
