This toy needs a redesign and a power upgrade. Unless you like a noisy toy that delivers weak performance and has a garbage casing, avoid.Published: September 18, 2008
Pros:
The attachments could probably be reused in something else. It uses only one AA battery.
Cons:
Weak power, one useless attachment, shoddy construction.
The "Wild Trio" multi-tip vibrator set is, to be honest, a product that could stand to have been better designed and built. The basic construction of the device is a set of three replaceable hard-gel tips in different animal and insect shapes, each of which are paired with a simple vibrator. [Editor's note: the attachments are made of TPR, which is porous. Keep in mind for sharing this toy.] The vibrator transmits its power through the base of the gel attachments. I'll say this up front: neither I nor my partner really understand the allure of shaping these toys as animals. The wand portion of the toy is around 4" in length, each of the attachments 3".
Of the attachments, the butterfly was the best out of the bunch and the elephant worst. What the butterfly did right was spread what little vibe there was all over (which felt nice). The elephant was "meh"--its main issue is that the "trunk" of the elephant tended to disperse the vibration; there simply wasn't enough power from the base to reach all the way to the end of the trunk and still feel like it was doing something. The dolphin is your stock g-spot vibrator and fairly inflexible as gel pieces go.
All three attachments share the common problem of the vibrating base. It runs on a single AA battery and has two settings: on, off, and remove the battery. The selection is done by rotating the battery housing (the entire base of the toy). There's no control over the intensity at all. The housing itself is a thin plastic and there is no tactile "click" between "OFF" and "remove battery" -- I accidentally disconnected the battery several times myself. This is the worst part about this toy, and the best attachments ever could not make up for it.
All in all, avoid this toy; your money is better spent on a good standard g-spot vibrator such as the G Curve Teaser. Or an egg/bullet. Just not this.

I think the novelty of animal-themed sex toys was taken too far, here. Do you think they're worth trying out on other, more powerful bullets, or not?
Not really, you'd have the do some frankenstein work for it
1 AA is never a good sign, in my opinion. Thanks for your honesty.
Sounds like a true flop...

good review, sorry it did not work for you.
How disappointing. I think the idea is great, but it sounds like a serious flaw in construction. Thanks for the review!
