Diamond spot vibrator - g-spot vibrator by Shaki Toys - review by ~LaUr3n~

For Shaki, the construction of this toy is better than most I've tried from them. It's not better in all aspects, though. The vibrations are very shallow and weak. However, it sure as hell is a gorgeous color, has pretty rhinestones, and is a cute size! But for me, even though this does hit my shallow g-spot it simply doesn't have quality vibrations. It might be good for someone else who is new to toys and or knows that they can finish from softer vibrations. It's compact and good for travel, so it has that too. Another good thing is that is is small enough to fit between bodies and use during oral.

The Diamond Spot Vibrator is made of a smooth velvety feeling plastic. The plastic does have a very faint odor to it, but it's not repulsive and you can only smell it if it is up to your nose. The plastic material is sturdy and firm. It's hypo-allergenic and free of both latex and phthalates. Plastic is non-porous, but it cannot be sterilized. Since this isn't the easiest toy to share with the use of a condom because of its size, you might want to consider another toy if that's what you intend to do.

The Diamond Spot vibrator is designed for shallow g-spot stimulation with a 45 degree up turn at the end. It's a petite 4 1/2" in length and fits in the palm of my hand. About 3 1/4" of that is insertable because towards the end of the shaft there are two rows of pretty, but protruding rhinestones of three different colors - pink, purple, and white. They are abrasive if inserted. The shaft is uniform and 1 in diameter, 3 1/8" in circumference. This is very slender and probably not enough thickness to satisfy many women. This toy is mostly for teasing or workup. The curved end only takes up 3/4" of the length, so there's not much to work with there either.



At the non-business end of the toy. There is a seam above and below the two rows of rhinestones. Right above the rhinestones is where the bottom part screws off so the single AA battery can be inserted. There is a piece of paper in there that shows which way to insert the battery. It does not need to be removed for operation. If left in it can help muffle the noise. Below them is a rounded butt end that turns to control the power.

This toy is discreet because of its size. It fits in a purse and is easy to travel with or hide.

The Diamond Spot is easy to use, but it would have been nice if it had some dial texture so that it would be easier to turn with lubed up fingers. There are only two steady speeds to choose from. Oddly enough, the first time I used this, there was only one. Magically, the second time there were two.

1. The first of the two speeds. starts after only about 10 degrees of rotation on the dial. It is strongest in the tip and can't be felt much in the lower parts of the vibrator. The noise level is high for the amount of power, but it still can't be heard through most doors. The vibrations are buzzy.

2. The second of the two speeds starts when you turn the dial all the way to the end. It is still strongest in the tip, but can be felt throughout the whole toy well. The noise level increases significantly, but doesn't match the power. Between the fingers it feels a lot stronger than it feels on my clit or g-spot. The vibrations are enough for teasing, but not enough for a good orgasm. I have a hard time finishing with this toy.

This toy is very easy to clean. It can be used with any lubricant and works just fine with none because it is so small. To clean, use a toy wipe, toy cleaner, or warm water and anti-bacterial soap. The material does not retain smells. When storing, you can store pretty much anywhere, just keep it out of direct sunlight so it doesn't lose its lovely color.

The toy comes in a small cardboard package with primitive graphics on it. The front has a plastic pane to show the toy below and the back has a small one to show the rhinestones. It works well for storage because it is small and doesn't have a lot of extra material. It isn't needed, though. Like other toys from Shaki, the package has some ridiculous phrases.

Because of this, I would suggest not gifting this unless you want to do so as a gag-gift.

It might be specific to my toy, but there is a weird blip in the material on the inside of the curve.

This little toy isn't best for solo use, in my opinion. The vibration are too weak by themselves and the girth and length doesn't help since it is petite. However, my partner and I like to use this toy during oral! He can insert the toy and still have plenty of room for his tongue to roam elsewhere. I does hit my g-spot, but I can't get the right angle or pressure with the small size to do much of anything. For this reason, I'm giving this toy 3 stars.
