This gem of a vibrator is designed for simultaneously stimulating your vagina and your clitoris, which the creators accomplished magnificently. The rotating/vibrating shaft has a well proportioned girth and length for successfully filling and stimulating your vagina, while the vibrating (non-animal shaped!) attachment tickles and teases your clitoris to a stunning climax.

The toy is amazingly quiet for a larger, powerful vibrator. While it does make a soft humming noise when on, it's very smooth and not noticeable behind a closed door. Which makes it ideal for anyone looking for discretion; parents, those with roommates in the next room, at a hotel, etc.

This vibrator is made with high-quality, medical grade Japanese Silicone; and therefore is free of the chemically odor some new toys have, is incredibly smooth and easy to clean, and free of harmful Phthalates. This makes it easy for people new to toy care to maintain, as it truly is a low maintenance toy.

Though incredibly smooth, the silicone surface does innately rub enough against the walls of your vagina to be incredibly similar to having a real penis inside you. The shaft is firm, yet has some flexibility and give to it, making it easy to bring further inside you. Because of the width of the shaft, and the texture of silicone, using a good water-based lubrication to make initial penetration go smoothly may be necessary if you're not already warmed up for the toy, otherwise the pull on your skin may feel more like friction than pleasure.

The vibrator is on the heavier side for a toy, at approximately 1lb, but is still by no mean cumbersome or wearisome to handle.

The design of this toy is one of the highlights. The simple, elegant lilac design evokes thoughts of a flower about to open to the sunlight, (perhaps an unintentional but accurate metaphor for the anticipation you'll feel when holding this vibrator in your hands and knowing the pleasure that is about to unfold?)

The overall size of this toy is approximately 10 and 3/4 inches long, with an insertable length of approximately 5 and 1/4 inches, and a diameter of approximately 1 and 1/2 inches. While this is bigger than some toys, it's not the biggest toy the rabbit line has, and I find that it comfortably fills me, though I don't insert it quite all the way.

Another thing I like about the design of the Rhythm Vibrator is the lack of rotating balls inside the shaft. The last two vibrators I bought from the rabbit line (Blue Heaven and Decadent Indulgence2) had the rotating balls within the shaft, and in both cases, it was actually very uncomfortable. For me, having metal pulsating and shoving against my sensitive interior was just not pleasurable. Especially with the girth of these types of toys, it's just too much, bordering on painful. The Rhythm Vibrator does not, thankfully, have those balls. It relies on it's many other wonderful attributes to being you to a climax, and it proves that rotating balls really aren't necessary. (And it cuts down on the chance of something jamming and breaking!)

The clitoral attachment brings to mind the image of a leaf protruding from a stem, and is very unobtrusive in design. I am NOT a fan of the traditional rabbit vibrators' animal attachments, I've owned vibrators with bunny, dolphin, and butterfly attachments, and honestly they made me feel a tiny bit uncomfortable and silly having them touch my clitoris. This is a simple, almost artistic, alternative. The clitoral attachment is almost cupped and comes to a gentle rounded point, excellent for reaching against your clitoris while having the shaft inside you, the attachment rests easily and comfortably against your clitoris, almost hugging it!

Functions: The different settings are controlled by the easiest method of all, a simple push of the button. I prefer button controls to dial or dial bases on vibrators, simply because when I'm in the brink of bringing myself to a climax, I don't want my finger to slip, touch an easily turning dial, and end up shifting the vibration to something not as climax-inducing.

The first button on the bottom control panel controls the three speeds of shaft rotation, allowing for a varying amount of . There are seven(!) amazing functions for shaft pulsation, vibration, and escalating patterns, controlled by the middle button. The last button is the off/on button. All the button feature a gentle backlight to help you differentiate between them if you can't remember which is which in the dark or under water. (This vibrator is also waterproof and performs well in the bathtub! I've used it in the bathtub several times now, and not a hint of any water leakage.)

The 3 AA batteries are inserted into the very bottom of the control portion of the vibe. An air/water-tight locking cap keeps the batteries and the mechanical parts from getting wet when submerged, and the batteries fit into a holder that slides out for quick and easy changing.

Noise levels are minimal, especially for a toy of this power level. The lowest intensity settings are barely audible through covers, and once inside you not really at all. The higher levels are a gentle hum through the covers, though nothing that would be audible through a closed door and/or would be easily covered by another background noise like the tv going.

The lower level steady vibrations are a gentle consistent rumbling, you can feel them, but in my opinion they're not stimulating enough to cause a climax. If you're new to vibrating toys, then that level may be good for you to ease into the stronger vibes. The stronger steady vibrations are very strong, i wouldn't say they make my hand numb like some power-house vibrators can do when being held for awhile, it's not a jack-hammer. But the vibrations definitely rumble down the shaft as you're playing and you will feel the tremors in your hand.

The escalating and shifting vibration patterns can steadily build up from one intensity to the next, shift between intensities in a "random" manner meant to keep you stimulated, or bursts of vibrations of the same intensity (that one kind of reminds me of a machine gun pattern, and i like the stimulating effect it can have.) Generally, the quickest way for me to get off with this toy is to have a variety of stimulations while maintaining the strong level vibes, so I alternate between the steady strong vibes, the "random" pattern, and the "machine gun" pattern.

This vibrator is VERY easy to clean, the smooth surface makes wiping it down a breeze, no bumps or crevices for undesirable debris and secretions to hide in. Being that it is 100% silicone, for cleaning you can use soap and water, or a toy cleaner of your choice. For sterilization, you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. This toy can't be boiled for sterilization, as that would obviously damage the mechanical parts.

You can use any water-based lube for this toy, though it needs to be kept away from silicone based lubrications and toys. I store my toy in the box it came in, as that keeps it lint free and I have the room for it.

The Couture Rhythm comes in a white box that features a picture of the vibrator on the outside from all angles, which makes the details of its contents impossible to hide. (But as some of my vibes have come in brightly colored packages with half naked women on them, I won't complain.) The overall color scheme and design of the box is as the vibrator, simple and understated. If you were going to give this as a gift, still inside the box, it is a far classier option than nearly any other vibrator on the market. (though, I'd still giftwrap it to avoid any unwanted eyes from seeing what you're gifting as the package does show what is inside.)

A plastic, fitted sleeve slides out from the box to hold the vibrator and keep it from rattling around in the box, so storage is a simple enough option with the box.

Of all the vibrators I've owned, this is by far my all time favorite. Unlike my other rabbit vibrators, the performance is unparalleled, and it withholds from using garish animal attachments and rotating balls to draw in customers. It's sleek, it's comfortable, it can provide any stimulation I would ask from a vibrator. The vibes aren't as strong as some other vibrators out on the market, but they are more than enough to get me to my happy place and leave me floating on cloud nine for a good long time. The size, the feel, everything about this vibrator was well planned out and exquisitely executed in the production. This toy was well worth the money it cost, and I may buy another at some point as backup for when the one i currently have inevitably does go to toy heaven, though I don't foresee that happening anytime soon with as well as every aspect of it has been performing in the last few months.
